Mia’s POV
We went to the back yard where the kids were playing. James called Joey over and Amara came running over as well. Joey went to sit with Amy and James while they explained to him about his mom.
We thought it’s better that Amy does the talking because she was the last one to see his mom. So, we gave them a bit of space and sat at the opposite table. Joey was sobbing and clinging to Amy. Amara got off my lap and went over to Joey and put her little arms around him.
“Don’t be sad Joey. I was also sad when my other mommy and daddy died. But now I have a new mommy and daddy and they love me just as much. The lady in my dreams said that we shouldn’t be sad because we will always be loved. Your mommy is an angel now and she will protect you.” Amara says and Joey hugs her a little ti
