Mia’s POV
We end the meeting and as much as I want to question Logan myself, Julian and Hunter refuse to let me. I relent because I really don’t even want to look at that asshole, let alone talk to him.
Julian, Talia, James and Dante are going to question him and Cathy. Patrick and Shay went to check on Bailey while Dante is busy.
I’m left alone with Hunter in my office, great. “Do you want to continue with the tour of the grounds?” I ask Hunter.
“It doesn’t matter what we do, as long as I’m with you.” He says with a seductive smile and I just roll my eyes. This man takes every opportunity to flirt.
“What’s your favorite place to go when you want to be alone and unwind?” he asks me. “Well, there is a waterfall by the river. I love to sit there, it’s very calming.” I answer.
