He leads me to towards the room that Paul and Amara are staying in and I immediately stop walking. I feel like my heart wants to stop beating.
Hunter is at my side in a second and holds me close to him. I look at my dad and I see sadness in his eyes.
“Paul was very ill Mia, he had end stage brain cancer and because he never got treatment his body just shut down. The doctors couldn’t do anything to save him.
He passed away 3 hours ago. Amara came running into our room to ask for help and we found him on the stairs coughing up blood so we took him to the infirmary. By the time we got there he was already unconscious.
