The Blood Pack (book one)

Chapter five

I took a deep breath. I didn't want to leave her like this, but staying would not help cushion the blow. I stepped down to the ground and started to walk towards the car. When I was half way someone jumped out at me, there lips crashing with mine. I pushed hard sending whoever it was flying into the side of the pack house. I went over and saw Liam slumped against the wall. "Something to remember me by." He said with a wink.

I delivered a swift kick to his ribs. "Something to remember me by." I smirked as I continued walking to the jeep. I climbed in the back slamming the door. That gained me a grunt from alpha Ash, but I didn't give a s**t. He embarrassed me and my wolf and she-wolfs, especially alpha she-wolfs did not take lightly to being embarrassed, especially in front of a group of alphas.

The jeep set off and we drove in silence for a while, until club guy next to me leaned over and whispered. "I'm Stephen but everyone calls me Ste." I just nodded to let him know I had heard him. Not getting the hint he continued. "You look really pretty. I did like the red dress more though." that made me laugh and alpha Ash growl. What was his problem? He didn't want me.

Liking to throw gasoline on any fire in my current pissed off state. I turned to Ste, spread my thighs slightly, grabbed his hand and put it on my leg. I leaned back slightly pushing my breasts up. "I believe this is where we left off." I said with a coy smile, wrapping one of my loose strands of hair around my finger. The car screeched to a halt and alpha Ash jumped out, ran around the car and opened my door.

"Get in the front." he ordered. He laced his voice with his alpha tone and dear God, I think I need a change of panties. I could not fight against his powerful command. I slowly slide from the back seat passing Mr. Silent as he took my spot and I took his. As soon as I got in the door slammed and alpha Ash got back in the front.

Silence fell over the car and my wolf was pissed. He doesn't want me but flirting with Ste was off the cards. f**k that! "So what's the score then Ash? Do I still call you Ash even though technically now you are my alpha?"

His jaw tightened. "Alpha is fine." he gritted out.

"So. Alpha," I put all the sarcasm I could into the word and it was not unnoticed as his grip tightened on the wheel. "You don't want to f**k me but I can't f**k Ste either?"

"No one if f*****g anyone." he snapped. His face turning red.

"Well that is not going to work in the long run. I'll get sick soon enough." I shrugged.

"I'm sure you can keep your legs closed for a while." I was infuriated by his assumption I was a slut. But God, if this was his point of view I would get sick. And it could be any time. I started to panic but pushed it down. Apparently not quick enough as I saw Alpha Ash look at me from the corner of his eye. "How long?" he asked.

"I'm fine." I gritted out. I was not discussing this with him.

"How. Long?" he commanded.

I fought against it. "As you said, I can keep my legs closed." my breathing was starched from fighting his command.

"How f*****g long Cassy?"

"Six months." I shouted. Catching my breath as it came whooshing back in. I fell back against the seat breathing heavy. That is what happened when you tried to fight a command from a more dominant wolf and it seemed ten times worse from him. "Don't you dare f*****g do that again!" I chastised. "I am not a doll to be bossed around and poked and prodded on your f*****g command. You wanted another female in your pack for a shitty alliance with a small pack. You got it. But what you don't have is access to my every thought, feeling and f*****g history. You don't want me, fine by me. But don't you ever command me when you have no f*****g right! "

That killed the conversation in the car. Whether it was my telling off the second son to the lead alpha or my admission that I had gone six months without s****l contact I don't know. I was glad for it. f**k all these wolves. We drove out of the busy city and stopped at a wooded area. The jeep went off road for about five minutes before a fence appeared in the middle of the tree line. Another male wolf was stood at the gate. Alpha Ash lowered his window "Hi Jonny, any issues?"

"No alpha all…" his eyes landed on me and widened. I rolled my eyes. He shook his head. "All quiet." he said coughing to cover his stumble. Well this is just awkward. Alpha Ash snarled and drove through the now open gate. I had to give it to the d**k, he had a nice territory. My pack had more concrete than trees. Here the land looked good with trees scattered around. My wolf liked it too. She wanted to run.

We drove for another five minutes before we reached a pack house. There were no other buildings that I could see. The house was big and well built. The bottom floor was made of stone and the top layers made of wood. I could see several balcony's and at least three floors. The jeep came to a stop and I jumped out. As soon as I was out I started taking my shoes off. Alpha Ash came around glaring at me. "What are you doing?" he asked as I took off my second shoe.

"My wolf wants to shift." I stated, starting to tug on the zip of my dress. His hands stopped me. I looked at him confused. "We are shifters, we see each other naked all the time. Don't be a prude."

I tried to pull again but he stopped me growling. "go round the side and strip there. Not in front of my men."

I looked around to Ste and silent staring at me with open mouths. I rolled my eyes. "Yes alpha." Again lacing it with sarcasm. I didn't wait for his reaction, I just walked around the side of the building and slipped out of my dress and underwear. My bones quickly popped and reshaped and my wolf was free.

She thrust her nose up in the air and ran round the side of the building. She wanted to burst up against alpha Ash, but I pulled her back, I reminded her that he didn't want us and that was enough to make my wolf change direction and run off into the woods. The soft earth felt good beneath my paws as I ran. I poured all my pain into running. My father traded me, Alpha Ash didn't want me, I had to leave Sanna in tears, I was in a new pack all alone. My wolf pushed too letting out a pained howl that echoed in the night.

Well that could have gone better. I couldn't trade for my mate. It wasn't right. She had to choose me. She was pissed and I got it. I still didn't want or need a mate but watching her go off on me gave me a stonking hard on. As well as her admission it had been six months since she had been with someone. Oh I bet I could play her body like an instrument.

She was right to go off on me. I was out of control. I never used my alpha command like that and there I was pissing her off further. When she started to flirt with Ste in the back seat I almost killed the guy. My best friend. f**k she was in my head. Her scent in the front seat drove me crazy. My wolf was pushing me to claim her, to tell her I changed my mind. But I couldn't, I wouldn't. Then when I saw her wolf, I felt all the air leave my body. She was gorgeous. Her fur a purpley white, her body strong yet lean. I thought for a moment she was going to come and rub her scent on me, but then she turned and ran off into the darkness. The territory was surrounded by a fence so I knew she was safe but my wolf still pushed to chase. I clenched my fist and turned to see Luke and Ste staring off into the night. "Don't you guys have stuff to do." I gritted out heading towards the house.

I went in and went straight to my room without turning the light on, I went to the bathroom and turned on the shower turning the heat all the way down to cold. I stripped, my rock hard c**k standing to attention. f**k she was going to be the death of me. I stepped under, letting the cold water take my breath away and cool my inflamed libido. I stood there for ages letting the water wash away how dirty I felt. I needed this alliance and I wanted Cassy but I didn't want her to have to be with me. What was I thinking, I didn't want a mate? God she was in my head!

I turned off the shower and wrapped a towel around myself. I went back to my room and that's when I saw the form in my bed. My heart jumped, for a split second I thought it was Cassy. But then the smell of Cara filled my lungs. For god sake. I turned on the light and grabbed her by the arm, I dragged her across the room to the door, which I threw open and shoved Cara's naked body out. I was about to close the door when I noticed Cassy frozen at the end of the corridor. She was back in her dress, body covered in mud. But she looked gorgeous.

Her face went from frozen to angry. "I see the 'no one is f*****g' rule lasted long." she said stepping closer. Cara didn't even try to hide her modesty, she stood naked and proud and even leaned closer towards me. "I need to know where I'm staying. I need a shower." she stated her voice calm.

I walked past Cara, ignoring her as she reached to grab my arm. "It's not what it looks like I was…"

"Don't bother, alpha." That sarcasm in her voice again got my wolfs fur bristling. "Room?" I pointed to the one next door to mine. Ste was on the other side of me and that one was meant to be saved for visiting alphas, but she was an alpha female if ever there was one. And I wanted her close. She turned and opened the door. She looked at the handle and noticed the lock. "Key!" she said holding her hand out. She was also smart. I got close my exposed skin brushing against her as I reached above the door frame for the key.

She didn't even flinch or blink but I could smell her arousal. I couldn't help but smirk, but it was short lived as a hand slapped me across the face. That stung like a b***h. She leaned back and looked around me to Cara. "Have fun." she said. Then she looked at me. "I plan on it." and with that she grabbed the key and went into the room and locked the door. My head landed with a thud against the hard wood door.

I groaned. Was she going to pleasure herself? Was she going to try to sleep with one of my men? f**k I needed a meeting now. I needed to tell them to keep off her. That she was mine. But how could I do that without actually claiming her? It wasn't fair to her. s**t. I felt a small hand rub my back. I turned, glaring at Cara as she stepped back. "Cara. If you insist on offering your services to the pack go try and f**k someone else. I am not interest." I snapped going back to my room. I closed the door and paced. She was naked. Just on the other side of that wall. She was in the shower. Water cascading down her perky t**s.

My wolf snarled. I went to the desk in my room and grabbed the spare key to her room. Without thinking, I marched out of my room to hers, thank god Cara had f****d off. I unlocked the door and locked it again behind me. I could hear the shower. Just a peak. The door was open and steam was coming out. I stepped closer and I could hear her soft moans. f**k she was touching herself in the shower. Next thing I knew I was in the bathroom. My towel on the ground. She was perfect. Through the steamed glass, I could see one hand pushed against in as the other one was nestled between her thighs. I pulled open the door and her purple eyes locked on me.

I stayed slow "Harder and faster? Use some manors."

I still stayed slow. "harder and faster please who?" I was pushing her I knew it but I needed her to say it. I needed her to call me alpha with out the sarcasm. To show her and her wolf accepted me.
