After the awkward moment between Serafino and me, he left the room abruptly. I was shaking from nervousness.
Okay, it's time I face Hunter. Honestly, I have mixed feelings about him.
Yes, I am happy for him that he is with his mate and has a high rank in this pack, but he left me without any word. We were best friends for god's sake. I considered him as my brother.
I left the room, feeling much better now. I hate Serafino for what he made me go through. I can’t believe that he is THAT heartless. I am his mate in the end, and not his enemy.
