Chapter 7: challenge

1074 Words
Sandra's POV It has been 5 days, and I am still stuck in this stupid room. I didn't see my 'mate' in these past days. The last time I saw him, was when I trashed the room and he ordered I clean it. My leg is completely healed now and I can walk properly thanks to my wolf. I played the role of an obedient little mate, like Serafino likes to call me, and I hated every second of it. I can't be sitting all day doing anything. But, thankfully, I was forming a plan in my head, and no, this time, I am not taking Cali's advice. The bïtch isn't the one getting injured by her dumb ideas. She is whining all day, and she was going to make me go crazy, but at least she was helping me with my grieving. I can't forget that awful day. "Luna." I snapped my head up and looked at Caroline. The poor woman is always trying to ease my loneliness. But I was still snapping at her. "Yes?" I sighed. Every 5 minutes, Caroline pops up in my room and talks to me. Sometimes she says non-sense about Serafino. Like yeah, he is a hurt soul and that blabbering. Like come on, that's so cliché if you ask me. "The alpha wants to see you." She said. "Oh, great, his Highness wants to finally see me, or is he bored of me and wants to let me go." I smirked getting up and walking out of the door for the first time in a week. "He is angry, Luna. Please if you make him any angrier, we will be the ones to put up with his mood." She said with pleading eyes. "I won't promise you." I said shrugging. The mansion was massive, I was looking at it better now. It was spotless, and decorated. Well looks like the mansion isn't a reflection of the alpha's black heart. "So that is the luna?" A woman with blonde hair said. Damn, it always has to be the blondes. No offense to all the blondes in the world. These bïtches made you look like you are all evil. "Got a problem?" I raised an eyebrow at her. As cliché as it sounds, she was barely wearing anything. A crop top, with a short skirt. Her bum was nearly showing. Disgusting. "Actually, yes, I do. You look like a homeless child." I noticed a group forming around us. She smirked when they laughed. How do those people grow up with such disrespectfulness? "Tell that to someone who cared. Maybe tell you alpha? He will be happy to let me go then, no?" I replied coldly. "That's for sure." She replied arrogantly. "Good. He can start searching." I tried to step around her but she stopped me. "He already found me, so back off." She snarled. "You?" I started laughing like a maniac. My laughter is the only thing you can hear. Everyone was silent and watching me with big round eyes. "I am better looking than you, then yes." She tried to play it cool, but I was a very remarkable person. I can see the sweat breaking on her forehead. "Darling, you can't rely on looks only, you need brains, and strength, which you clearly don't have at the moment. Try harder." I pushed her back and she stumbled. You know what? These people need discipline, and I am eager to make them pay. Starting with this thing standing in front of me. I was already late for meeting the alpha. It's not that I am eager to see him, but this bimbo is getting on my nerves and I want her gone from my face as soon as possible. "Enough, this is not a theater, everyone, go do something useful." I snapped and they bower their heads in submission. Their wolf recognized me as the Luna. "As for you, I advise you to never let me see your pretty face again, because it won't be so pretty after I am done with it." I said in the same tone and she forcefully obliged. "They recognized you as the luna." Caroline squealed. I ignored her, as she starter walking again taking me to Serafino. This man and his pack are getting on my nerves. Who in their right minds challenges the luna. 'Sandra! You admitted that you are the luna!' Cali gasped. At that moment, Caroline stopped in front of a big oak door and knocked. The scent of pine and wood engulfed me, and all the anger vanished. I was relaxed again. My damn heart skipped a beat when Serafino ordered us to enter. His voice was huskier than usual. We both walked inside. Caroline stopped and smiled at the both of us and left me alone in the lion's den. "Sit down." Serafino ordered. "I am fine standing up." I said coolly. "Do you like to always test my patience? Is it a hobby of yours to always go against my orders?" He snapped. "Yes." I replied testing his patience again.  "Sit down little mate." He gritted out. I rolled my eyes, but sat down anyways.  "What are your plans for me now? Any lovely ideas?" I laughed.  "I won't take it easy for all the disrespectfulness that come out of you towards me little mate." He said slowly in a low tone.  "Or what? You will kill me?" I snorted.  "No. I will do worse, that you will wish you were dead." He stood up and walked towards me. He approached me and leaned down putting his hands on both sides of the chairs, he caged me and I couldn't move. His minty breath hit my face and I turned my head, because I couldn't look anymore in his eyes. I feel like melting when I look in his eyes.  Blue was my favorite color, but now I die when I see the color blue in his eyes. I compare them to a big peaceful ocean, unlike his personality.  "I don't care." I gritted out.  He growled and put his hand around my neck squeezing a little. My eyes watered but I glared at him.  "Peter!" He yelled and I jumped when he yelled.  "Yes alpha?" Peter entered the room instantly, like he was waiting outside the door.  "Take her to my special room." Peter gulped and looked at me with sad eyes.
