CHAPTER 8

320 Words
ROXY "Roxy, there is a fair today in the evening. you should go and have some fun." "No Patty. Going out is really not my thing" "Dear if you will not enjoy right now then when will you? Listen to me, go and have some fun. you just moved here and I really think you will have tons of fun. you might even meet some girls there" Wait, what? Did he just say girls? Am i that obviously gay. not that there is anything wrong with being gay but how the hell could he even tell that I was gay. I am actually proud that he knew only by looking and talking to me. "Dear if you're thinking, how could I tell you were gay? Well it is really not that hard to know" "Patty I am actually grateful that even though you knew I was gay, you did not treat me any different" "Child it doesn't make any difference to me that you are straight or gay, at the end of the day you are the same Roxy" Hearing his words brought tears to my eyes which was almost confusing to me because I haven't cried in like three years. Even my own dad laughed in my face when I told him that I am gay. At first I thought that I was joking but when he didn't see me laughing then he looked so mad. He actually smashed a bottle of whisky near my face which resulted in me getting a small scar on my head. I was thirteen. But I was not surprised that he reacted this way. "So?" Seeing the expectant look on Patty's face , I couldn't say no. "Yea I will go to the fair." Patty passed me a flyer with the name of the fair on it. Olly fair ... hmm sounds interesting. It will be fun, I mean what could go wrong?
