There’s a sprinkle of light brown freckles on the bridge of Zain’s nose and cheeks, a small mole under his left ear. He’s got more freckles, randomly placed all over his body, not noticeable to someone that wasn't close enough to see them. One on his left elbow, in the crease of it. One on his upper shoulder. one in the wedge of his ear. A few running along his back, a light gathering of them like a group of stars shining in the sky. His skin is tanned, a tan from playing basketball and training outside all the time, smooth. He’s got a rough patch of skin on his right elbow from when he fell on the basketball court, scraping it and refusing to get it healed.
