When she woke up in the morning, Danni opened her eyes with more optimism than she’d ever had before. There was something about being here that made her extremely excited and nervous at the same time. It was like there was something truly unique happening in this town and that you would only witness something like this in Pierce Harbor. The whole town was coming out to celebrate the fact that they were American and that they had a country.
