The Deal of wedding

      That girl came closer to him. She was going to put her hand on his shoulder but Eric just slid in the backward direction. That girl was not able to handle it and fell on the ground. The people around them started laughing loudly. She felt so embarrassed but still she wanted to give a next try. She pouted her lips and came forward to kiss on his face. All of a sudden her gaze went over the cold shivering glare of Eric. His eyes were getting dark and deep. He was looking terribly terrific to her. She was so scared by his look and turned in the backward direction. All people started showing a downward thumb towards her.

“She was so dumb. It was impossible to seduce this man. They said it was true that he was literally allergic to the girl. We all have seen it.” People started to gossip about him. Eric was the heartthrob of the girls from Z city.

“Not for every girl. Anyways He was going to marry after his brother Victor. We would see who that lucky person is!” Victor was a famous person in that club. Everybody knew him very well.

“But He was Mates right? I didn’t know that he was the brother of Eric roger. They seem so different from each other.” The girl who attempted to lure him asked with curiosity in her face.

“They are half-brother. They probably don’t like each other but they will not pretend.” The person added.

       When Eric came to the private longue of the club, the elite members were already sitting there. Many of them greeted and bowed their head to Eric. His half-brother victor was also sitting in the longue. Victor smiled evilly to him but Eric ignored it. He didn’t want to make a fuss in such a place. Victor understood his avoidance and deliberately came to him. Eric was playing snooker to avoid Victor.

“So it was true. Eric Roger had paid a visit to this club. Even though he knew that I am a Senior Elite Member of this club, you wanted to buy this club. How much your father had given you, are you not satisfied with it little brother.” Victor was being so sarcastic in front of him.

“You have lost your right to say me a brother on the day your mother poisoned my mom. Until then I was considering you my brother. Talking about buying this club, I don’t f*****g care who is member of this club and who is not. I have interest so I came here looking for it.” Eric told him with rage in his eyes.  He had still grudges about him and his mother but he was keeping it calm.

“Accept it or not but I am still a son of Roger.  It was your mother who came between my mom and dad.” Victor as usual tried to provoke him. He could see the fire in Eric’s eye, the fire which could burn him within a second.

“Enough. Don’t brag about my mother in our conversation. It depends on my father to accept you or not. He had given you his share. You should not care about what he has given me.” He said while getting closer to him as if he was going to hit him.

“Don’t get furious for now. Let’s have a game. I am quite famous for poker here. I have heard that you are a good player too. Let’s see who plays well.” Victor invited him to play poker with an evil face. He was thinking about having some fun with some evil plans.

“I am not interested in playing with you. Better you find another partner for you. The game should be played between the people of equal standard.” Eric knew Victor very well that he will keep provoking him in the game too. He was getting annoyed by him.

“Are you scared of losing games? Is Eric Roger afraid of something? It’s a mere game. Don’t think too much.” Victor started insisting on him. Eric gave a thought and started playing poker with him.

     The game has started between Eric and Victor. Victor has already tricked those playing cards. In the long run he has won more hands than Eric. Eric became so stressed. He has lost all of his tokens and even his watch to Victor. He couldn’t understand what’s wrong with him. He was one of the finest poker players but still he was not able to win. Finally when he lost most of his things, he stood up.

“Let’s call it over. I don’t think I can play anymore. My luck is not god enough today.” Eric was about to leave that table but suddenly victor called him again.

“I didn’t know that you could make excuses for your loss. You should be mature and accept your loss instead of blaming your luck.” Victor said with an evil tone. Eric got infuriated by his words and kicked the chair in front of him. The people around him started looking at both of them. Eric went to him and held the collar of Victor. 

“I already asked you not to provoke me. I am Eric Roger, the successor of Roger group. Who the f**k are you to tell me that. You are a lowly son of a mistress. My mother had died because of your mother.” Eric said furiously. He was burning in the rage of fire. He clenched his fist and went to throw a punch on Victor's face. Eric was about to punch him but when he looked at his face. His punch has stopped at quite a distance.

      He remembered how much he was loving and caring about his big brother. The person he loved after his mother was nothing but his brother Victor. They were playing together and he trusted in him a lot but one day he saw his mother almost dead. She had foam dripping from her mouth. When she was asked who had poisoned her, she was not saying anything but she had pointed towards that mistress and her son. From that day, this man has become the biggest enemy of Eric. He was not able to forget that day for many years. Eric kept avoiding him as he made him remember the dead face of his mother.

“Don’t be a crybaby. I have a deal now. Let’s have the last game again. If you won, I will give all these things back to you but if you have lost, you will go for a wedding instead of me. You will be the bridegroom for a year. Tell me are you ready to accept it?” Victor looked at him and said in an aggravating tone.

    He knew Eric from his childhood. He knows better how the things could get done from Eric. Eric was still in the position to punch him. He was looking in the eye of victor.
