Chapter 13: Training or the Staff Cometh?
While holding this gold thing in my hand I tried getting up off the pool deck, but I couldn’t move. I tried looking at it but I could not tell what it was exactly, but boy did it have weight. I felt something different, something was changing within me yet I could not tell what.
Just as I thought that I’d be stuck here all night my Mom shows up. “So this is where I find you.” She said, then looking down at me and seeing this thing she jumped back and “Honey, where did you get that?” she questioned.
“I’m not sure.” I halfway said straight and half groaning. “Mom, it’s heavy. Can you get this thing off me?”
