Chapter 5: Death of a Mother
Blood flew out from my Mom’s head as she fell over on top of me. Afriel and I were screaming hysterically. The gun c****d once more and was pointed at me.
“Get up and come with us or this one dies as well.” The grey suited one stated. His finger was firmly pressed against the trigger, I couldn’t move, I didn’t breathe, I did nothing. I was too terrified to do anything.
Afriel stood up and walked over to the man in the black, “Leave him be!” she demanded pointing back at me.
“Fine.” He stated and grabbed her by the forearm and escorted her out of my apartment.
“Let’s go! All units fall back!” I heard across their radios. The guy in the grey uniform didn’t move, he kept his gun on me. So I said something hoping it would not be my last sentence. “They gave yo
