When Anna's eyes flew open, she picked her head up with a jerk as reality settled inside. She was in her cabin. At work. And she slept.
Her eyes instantly tried finding the time, and with blurry eyes, her hand ran through the desk trying to locate her phone. Her head still pained and now, her eyes burned as well. And yet, the only thought in her head was the guilt of sleeping during work.
The horror in her head was so high, that she completely ignored the fact that she was wearing a watch and she could check the time there.
But she located her phone instead, double tapping it to check the screen.
It was a quarter past one.
"f**k," she said to herself. She rarely cursed, but it was justified here. She had been sleeping for four full hours.
