"Are you kids sure that you don't want to-"
"We are not kids! We can take care of ourselves and Fire even learnt to cook rice yesterday, so stop disrespecting us," Jake yelled and while I calmed down, I couldn't help the chuckle that escaped my lips.
"You're just three and if you remember yesterday clearly, then you must also understand why the kitchen is going through a renovation," I smirked at him, but only realized that I had gotten carried away when it was too late.
"You said practice makes perfect," Sapphire whined as she dropped her plastic sword and walked behind her brother.
"Exactly, you're so mean to talk to her like that just because she burnt down the kitchen," Jake said making the whole disaster sound so light and I took a few steps back.
