Jason's POV
The plan was to find as many women who fit in the witch's description of my mate to fool the old man. However, two days have passed and they couldn't return with any alpha's daughters who are within the age requirement.
Disappointing, but that still hurt because the main purpose of Agnes leaving the palace was to meet Uvira, the witch.
"We have no choice but to turn on the women around. There are about fifteen of them that fit," the old man said as he stroked his chin.
Just what we were waiting for?
"But he has had them already. It's better if we keep on searching," Agnes said to provoke him.
"Searching until His Highness loses his blood and dies!? Your loyalty towards him is questionable," the enraged old man said as he shook with anger.
