Caroline's p.o.v
There are 3 rules I'm never allowed to break.
1. Do not get into physical contact with the target, unless you are cornered or in harms way.
2. Do not get attached to anything or anyone that is in direct contact with the target.
3. Always finish your work without leaving any evidence.
The past weeks I had managed to break one rule, and that was rule number 2, I was seated outside a cafe few meters away from my target out of a habit I developed, I came here so I could just watch him drink his drink, what I had gathered was very different from the information I had received from my boss, I remembered very well the info I read.
Targets name: Don Collins

Gender: male
Height: 6'3
Status: single
Skills: Archer,sharp shooter,karate & kogfu.

For weeks I had observed him, he did the same things everyday.
06: 00 Am - wakes up and takes a bath.
06:30 Am - dresses up
07: 00 Am - eats breakfast
08: 00 Am - leaves for work alone without a driver or bodyguard.
09: 00 Am - enters the company and office.
10: 00 Am - 4 pm - deals with paperwork and at times attends meetings.
5: 00 pm - 8: 00 pm - goes to a cafe near home and has a drink.
9: 00 pm - goes home and sits in his garden.
10: 00 pm - takes a bath then has a cup of tea.
11: 00 pm - goes to bed and sleeps.
This repeats itself everyday, looking at him now I couldn't help but smile, he was a Greek god with great looks and strong features, ocean blue eyes, black short hair, strong cheekbones, tall and well built body but above all harmless and kind.
I had once observed him helping an old lady cross the road, helping an injured dog, playing with homeless kids in the streets, giving them gifts and so on, I wasn't sure if he was doing it out of his own goodwill or he knew I was observing him, to me he seemed kind.
"Excuse me, may I sit with you?" A blond rich spoiled girl asked.
I usually saw her staring at Don every time he came for a drink.
"Sure, go ahead" I answered while faking a smile.
I hated her type a lot, just by the way she talked and moved you could tell she was a total spoiled brat.
She quickly sat down next to me on my table.
"So let me get down to the point, I have noticed how your eyes roam all over Rick, Rick is mine so back off" she spat with raised eyebrows.
"Who is rick?" I asked calmly.
She glared at me then pointed at Don, for the first time in weeks he turned and looked at us, I quickly dropped my gaze and looked at the table.
"I'm so sorry you misunderstood me, I really don't know the guy and I wasn't looking at him" I answered as she dropped her hand then chuckled lowly.
"Then prove it, leave and never come back to this cafe," she said as I looked at her.
Her smirk was annoying me, I bite my lower lip and chewed on it slowly, breaking her neck would be easy and it would also make me happy, sadly she wasn't my target.
"Sure, I'm leaving" I answered while standing up.
I slowly walked away with a lot of thoughts, I was so angry at her, killing her wouldn't take me much.
I was about to cross the road when the spoiled brat called.
"Lady"
I stood still for a minute then turned to face her, I was shocked when I was pushed off the road by someone, I fell hard hitting the ground, I closed my eyes for a second feeling the intense pain, I opened my eyes and looked at my badly bruised hand.
"Damn" I whispered ignoring the shouting that was coming from people.
I sat upright and looked at the road, Don was sitting on the middle, he had a cut on his forehead that was bleeding, there was a car inches away from him, he was looking at me coldly as people gathered.
"Lady you are very lucky, if it wasn't for that man who pushed you away, you could have been badly injured or worse," an old lady said as she moved closer to me.
I quickly stood up ignoring my paining hand and turned to walk away.
"Wait" a strong deep voice called out.
I stood frozen not knowing what to do, I heard footsteps approaching me as my heart beat wildly, I really wanted to run, a hand on my shoulder stopped me.
"Hey, are you okay," the same deep voice asked, this time it was a lot calmer and softer.
"Can you look at me?" It asked.
I slowly turned without reasoning with myself, I really wanted to see his face.
I froze staring at Don, his cut was that bad, the blood on his forehead was drying up though, I opened my mouth to say something but my voice couldn't come out, he lowly laughed.
"I'm glad you are okay, I have always been watching you at the cafe, you usually sit alone right?" He asked as I touched my chest.
My heart was aching, why would he risk his own life just to save mine? I really wanted to believe that he was dangerous but no matter how much I tried I couldn't, I only saw a kind man, something about him made me feel relaxed, I was completely comfortable around him.
"Hey" he whispered as he lifted his hand and pressed it on my cheek.
his hand felt cold and yet so secure, I closed my eyes and leaned into his touch, I just wanted to stay like this for a second or minute, not as a spy, but as a lady who was greatly attracted to him.
"I knew it, you b***h!" An annoying voice startled me and bought me back to the reality I didn't want to see.
I opened my eyes and looked at the spoiled brat who was walking towards us, I did the only thing I could think of, I ran away, the last thing I could hear was Don's voice calling for me.
