The music had a kind of magic that Mirror never imagined existed. Where did Snow learn to do this? Mirror felt the song against her heart, and even stern-faced Zoe swayed subconsciously to the beat. Parker and the other dwarves unabashedly dropped their weapons, dipping their heads to the rhythm, their feet beginning to move. The women danced together, their bodies sliding with the music as if possessed. The snake appeared to feel the song just as powerfully.
