Who is she?

Daciana's POV

With my head down, I had to leave the room in shame. I didn't know whether Eden had changed or I was the one who never saw that he had some red flags. I could remember how happy I was when we were getting married.

Although my father had instructed me that I must get married to Alpha Eden, I didn't mind it at all. In fact, it was love at first sight for me. The minute I saw him, Loved him. That day, he was gentle to me, he was sweet and loving in the eyes of everyone and mine too. But everything changed the moment we got home.

Eden suddenly refused to touch me, he only touched me when he wanted to punish me and I didn't argue. He turned me from a Luna that I should be, to a housewife then down to a servant, maid, and cook.

Because here I am, it's 12 am but I'm still in the kitchen with the cook making sure that all the food he had asked me to prepare for the gala will be ready before morning.

I had prepared seven dishes and I had three more to prepare. I was tired and needed to rest but I knew if my butt touches the couch, I might sleep off.

"How about you walk around for a while," the chief cook advised, and with a yawn, I nodded.

"That should help,"

I began to walk about the living room and the kitchen then went upstairs to my room. Then I was passing by Eden's room when I heard the sounds of Nikini's voice.

Was she still here? She planned to sleep over and was still in Eden's room. What made me freeze like I was poured ice water was her moans.

I forced myself to move closer to the door, and pressed my ear to the door not believing what I heard,

"Eddy… ahh… hmmm,"

"Ohhh faster Eddy, faster!"

Tears rolled down my cheeks as my fingers clenched, and my heart was aching as I tried to reason clearly what to do. I didn't want to believe that my husband was sleeping with my own sister.

I never wanted to imagine it even if the thought came earlier today, I didn't want to imagine it.

How could they do this to me?

"Oh, Nikini!" I heard Eden groan in pleasure.

"Tell me I do better in bed than Deciana,"

"Far better. You are perfect" Eden replied so sweetly. He has never said anything as beautiful as that to me before. He was never so soft and sweet to me.

I gulped down the pain, my throat felt sore as I tried not to scream. I held myself, tears continued to fall down my cheeks, and knowing I was going to run mad if I continued listening, I turned around and made my way back to the kitchen

And he said he was tired, he just wanted to eat and rest. This was him resting. So who exactly did he get married to? Me or Nikini? Because while I was in the kitchen making sure the ten dishes were as he wanted, he was having s*x with Nikini in his room.

"Are you okay, Daciana?" The chief cook asked me and I nodded as no words could come out of my lips

"You sure?" She could clearly see the tears that stained my cheeks but I kept nodding. I was fine

In fact, I was absolutely fine because I was no longer sleepy. Eden and Nikini had done some magic, I am not sure I would be able to sleep tonight.

I could also feel my wolf groan in pain, whimpering, my heart was burning in my chest like it was ready to tear itself to pieces. This was torture, having my mate, Alpha, and husband share his body with someone else in a room so close by.

I was getting weak by the minute because of the pain my wolf was feeling but I dared not rest. I dared not leave the kitchen, instead, I continued to cook.

Everyone finally left me to bed but I remained in the kitchen cooking. The chief cook begged me to leave the kitchen but I refused, I had to cook. Eden's room was close to mine so definitely I would hear their moans and I didn't want that. The pain in my heart was horrible enough, I didn't want to add to that.

When it was 4 am, I decided to rest my head on the couch,

"What the hell!" I heard a loud yell that pulled me out of my sleep.

Seeing that it was morning, I jumped to my feet only to be pushed right back aggressively by Eden,

"What is this rubbish? You're not ready yet?" He groaned in anger.

I looked around to see that guests were already stepping in. Why didn't anyone wake me up?

"I'll go get ready,"

"What a weakling," I heard Nikini muttered. I wanted to retaliate, give her the beating for a lifetime, not because of her words right now but because of what happened last night. She had the guts to have s*x with my husband in my matrimonial home. I'll just be calm till the gala is over then I'll make sure to rearrange not only her face but her brain.

I was walking to my room when one of the maids came over with a box in my hand, she said,

"I'm sorry. Your sister was the one who asked me to let you rest when I wanted to wake you up earlier,"

I nodded and took the box from her,

"Your dress,"

"Thank you," I replied before locking myself in my room. I hurried into the bathroom to have my bath. I was so tired and exhausted but I knew I had to be ready on time.

They'll announce the welcoming of the Alpha and the Luna real soon, so I have to be by Eden's side when that happens.

After taking my bath, I opened the box ready to wear my gown only to find something else inside the box. One person came to mind,

"Nikini!"
