True Loving

Chapter 5

So the plan is that I meet someone new, someone both Ian and Ethan dislikes.

I also have to put my foot down no relationship, no attention. With Ethan it would be easy because he is all about playing games, but with Ian it's going to be hard even though he is human he is sweet and I don't want to hurt his feelings.

So the first thing I should do is find someone they hate. I got out of bed and rushed to the shower. I had a lot to do before I was ready for this day.

When I was done showering I curled my dark hair to bouncy perfection. Next I did my make up. I circled my eyes with black eyeliner and mascara making my grey eyes pop. I dressed in a mini denim skirt with a loose white long sleeved shirt that hung loose over my one shoulder. With that I paired brown knee high boots. I twirled in front of my mirror and admired my great effort. To round everything of I put on a long wooden beads necklace. I walked down stairs and got a cereal bar I needed all my energy for today. My sisters were dressed and ready to go one look at me and I could see their knowing smiles.

The ride to school was more fun than usual. We had the music blasting hard and we were singing along to all the songs that came up, being as old as we are we know a lot of different varieties of songs.

We pulled up at school and I quickly applied some lip gloss before getting out of the car. Ian was waiting for me, but he is about to get the biggest surprise of his life. He walked over to me after taking his time checking me out.

"Hi, Lize." He came in for the kiss and I turned my face away. I felt a little bad.

"Hi Ian." I smiled at him, where as he just looked confused. I quickly picked his brain and got his hate list.

"Are you mad at me?" Trust him to take the rejection personally.

"No, not at all. It's just that I'm not your girlfriend and you are not my boyfriend, but we acted like we were, but I don't want to anymore since I met someone that is serious about me, not just fooling around with me, but see you around." I hugged him and was off. Okay next I had to find Ethan, but that boy was never at one place for two long. He wasn't against the school building, he wasn't in the hall and I didn't have enough time to go on searching. I walked into my English class just as the bell rang and sat down.

The teacher gave me the stink eye. I guess she still doesn't like me. She had her plain hair pulled back into a ponytail. She was a really serious person from the hair to her trouser suit. I bet her life is boring and torturing us kids with her boring class is all pleasure she gets.

She scowled at me and I send her a kiss. School is so boring, may a curse be with what ever i***t decided kids should waste their precious time in a room where you have to listen to stuff you won't remember a year or two after you finished school. I wanted to shout yay! When the bell finally rang. I rushed out of class and right into Ethan. The halls were full of busy kids so he grabbed my wrist and pulled me into an empty class.

He took my hands and looked at my knuckles. It wasn't sore, well I was just so use to pain that I didn't even notice it anymore. It was red and sensitive all around the open cuts on some places it started bruising.

He slowly trailed his fingers over it. I was frozen. The way he did it so carefully surprised me, him doing it at all surprised me even more. He looked up right into my eyes.

"This is really bad, you should have stopped when your knuckles started turning red." He had bags under his blue eyes which seemed a deeper colour than usual.

"I didn't notice it until I saw the blood." He was shocked that I didn't feel it.

"Why were you boxing with so much anger?" He reached out and placed the curl that fell on my face behind my ear his hand caressing my cheek. Then he looked back down at the rough cuts and bruises.

"Why do you think it was in anger? I was just exercising." He walked me right into the wall and placed a hand on each side of me.

"Don't play games with me!" He was serious and I never thought that my getting hurt would influence him so much. I kept quiet thinking about what to say to him.

"Damn it Analize. You scared the crap out of me last night, I thought someone hurt you. I deserve an explanation? It kept me up all last night. And today you stepped into school looking sexy as hell and pretending like nothing happened!" He was really angry now.

Then someone stepped into the class room and when I looked over to the door I saw the one and only Ian.

"Yeah Analize what happened between you two last night? Is he the guy you met?" Wow see what happens when you eavesdrop -you only get half the story and expect the worst.

"You met a guy was that how this happened?" Ethan asked taking my hand again.

"Wait! What happened to your hands?" Ian asked.

"Okay stop! Neither of you own me so I don't need to answer you, but no one hurt me I hit a boxing bag without gloves, no Ethan is not the guy I met and Ethan the guy I met didn't do anything."

"Now can I leave I'm late for class." They both crossed their arms, meaning I wasn't going anywhere. So I picked Ethan's brain for his hate list. They both hate a guy called TJ so that is my future fling.

"Why would you hurt yourself like that?" Ian asked. He is making it sound like I cut my wrists or something.

"I've been asking her that too." Well I was trapped in a class room with two boys who clearly wasn't letting me leave without answers. For two guys who hate each other they make a good team. I should have guessed since they are football tea mates

"I was frustrated, okay! I missed my mom and that made me think of the day she died. I was so into the memory that I didn't notice. Next thing I knew it was almost dark so I started walking home and then it started raining and that's when you found me. End of story."

They both pulled their hand through their hair clearly uncomfortable because they made such a big deal out of it.

"Well I have math." Ian slipped out fast. So now he trusts me around Ethan alone in an empty class, but when we have a class full of kids around us doing a project he gets jealous. Boys !

"Well I'll see you around." With that I left the room. Ethan looked haunted. This was the first time he heard about my mother and I'm guessing he is feeling guilty for making me talk about it after seeing how I looked last night.

I was really late for my second period and that is exactly what I used as a excuse, my period. I don't want another detention, it's too boring. I've never liked Math and yes it's because I suck at it, but once again it's not like I'm ever going to use all this crap all I need to know is how to add, subtract, multiply and divide. In all aspects of life. When the bell rang I was overjoyed. I walked out the door and down the multiple halls to my next class when I heard it...

"TJ wait up." I reversed back into a hall and listen in to thoughts. TJ was irritated because he had to wait and now I know how he looks. That means it's time to work my magic, okay my power, because my magic skills is a bit rusty. I started speed walking towards him.

And then I bumped into him, letting the books that were in my arms fell on the floor.

"Oh I'm so sorry, I was rushing back to my locker and I didn't want to be late for class." I gushed. He bend down and helped me pick up my books.

"Nah its okay, you were in a hurry." Wow he is actually sweet, now I wonder why Ethan and Ian dislike him so much. He ignored the guy that yelled out for him to wait so he left.

"Well I'm not in a hurry anymore." He actually smiled and then I saw what he was thinking. So Ian screwed up and now she's free for the taking.

"I can walk with you to your locker?" I tugged a curl back behind my ear and smiled at him. We started walking down the hall.

"I'm TJ."

"I'm Analize."

"Yeah I know you are kind of all they talk about around here. Threatening Jasmine, dating Ian, kissing Ethan and of course being new."

"How do you know I kissed Ethan?"

"You should have been more careful that day after detention." Well I honestly thought no one saw us, now I know why Ethan dislikes him.

"And Ian and I were never together." He nodded thoughtfully.

'Veronica meet me at my locker as fast as possible.' She has to clear poor TJ's mind so that I can make my own memories.

"So what did you forget in your locker?" We were turning the corner and I could already see Veronica.

"My earphones." We stopped at my locker and I whispered my plan to Veronica she giggled and whispered back

"You're so evil." She cleared his memories of yesterday afternoon all he did was sit around at his house anyways. I made him think that, everything that just happened, happened yesterday afternoon. When I stormed out of art I bumped into him and he walked me to my locker to get my gym clothes. He also joined me for a run, we were hugging each other goodbye when we just looked into each others eyes and kissed. As for now we decided to ditch together because it's lunch next anyways. Veronica left and I slammed my locker hard getting him out of his daze.

"Are you okay TJ you totally zoned out?" He smiled at me. He pulled me closer by my hips. He circled his arms around me, just holding me, it actually felt nice.

"I was just thinking about how we met." I looked down faking shyness. He lifted my head by placing his fingers under my chin. He kissed me lightly and then pulled away.

"I wanted to do that since our kiss yesterday." Wow I really screwed with this guys head. I went on my tippy toes and kissed him more lingering.

"And that one is for you being sweet." I said, cheesy yes I know.

"So what do you want to do for lunch, babe?" See how plans just fall into place. See how easy it is to use humans. Their intellect is really lacking. Their minds are ruined by the modern life that is why people of today don’t believe in supernatural beings.

"Well I thought we could sit down with my sisters, Allan and Jake."

"Yeah sure." Whoa he answered that way to quick. I listened to his thoughts again -no way I'm leaving her alone with her ex fling and her ex make out partner who can show up anytime

he is already jealous. We walked outside and sat down under a tree. I laid with my head on his stomach. He was playing with my curls and it felt peaceful in a way, and sure I was only going to leave him for Ian or Ethan, but for the time being this is really nice.

"So are you friends with Ian or Ethan?" He froze.

"No not really." And that was clearly all I was getting out of him. The bell rang for break so we got up and walked to our lunch table. I sat down while TJ went to get us something to eat. My sisters and their guys came and joined me. From where I sat I saw TJ, Ian and Ethan all coming towards the table from different places. Why is Ethan and Ian coming over?

They all stopped at the same time too. TJ kissed me as he sat down handing me a slice of pizza. While they hovered there.

"Sit down guys." I said when I saw Ethan and Ian just glaring at TJ.

They both sat down. I thought they would have just walked away. But I guess they didn't want TJ too feel smug because I'm his or something who would ever understand boys.

"So when did you and TJ meet?" They both asked at the same time.

"Yesterday afternoon."

"We just ran into each other." TJ said looking at me with loving eyes. Yes I totally screwed with his head.

"Was this before your accident?" Ian asked. I pulled my face at him.

"What accident babe?" TJ asked me, staring right into my eyes. I placed my hand on his cheek.

"Nothing you should worry about." I stroked his cheek with my thumb.

"Haven't you seen her hands?" Ethan asked. I swear they are ganging up against me. TJ grabbed my hands and looked at it. He looked up at me again.

"Jeesh, can everyone just stop. I was boxing without gloves." Then everything went quiet. The whole table was just staring at each other or eating. TJ leaned over and whispered in my ear.

"This is really awkward." I giggled because it was so true. I leaned over and whispered in his ear. Everyone was looking at us now.

"Let's sneak away." I whispered to him. He had a smirk on his face. He silently slipped his hand in mine. We looked at each other and I winked. I pressed his hand 1... 2...and 3 we got up and ran to the door, okay maybe not sneak more like ran away. I laughed so hard. It was so fun. I looked over my shoulder and saw everyone staring. We kept on running down the hall waving to each camera or sending kisses. TJ started it, but I didn't mind. We ran right out the front door and right into a teacher.

"And where are you two going?" We stopped laughing and looked at the teacher in front of us. She had long blonde hair, blue eyes and manicured nails. She didn't look like your average teacher and the way she was looking at me.

"Just going to my car I forgot one of my books and we wanted to get there before the bell rang." She nodded glaring daggers at me. Really did any teachers like me? She turned around and walked away while we walked to my car. We sat on the hood next to each other just looking out at the school building.

"She is Jasmine's step mother, but they look more like each other than her real mother. Her real mother died when she was five and her step mother stepped in three months after her mothers death. She was always a close family friend."

"So that is why people hate you because you know all their secrets." He grinned at me evilly.

"That isn't even the best part. Her mom and dad both had affairs since she was born because; they only married because everyone expected it. That's why Jasmine loves her step mom so much because she raised her." I slipped of the hood and went to stand between his legs.

"And me? What do you know about me?" He put his hands around my waist and looked into my eyes.

"Well I know that you and Ian were almost together, I know you cheated with Ethan and I know I'm crazy about you."

"Oh and how do you know that?" I asked him smiling and leaning in.

"Because since that first day when Churl send a photo of you and your sisters I've been wishing to just bump into you. And now that I have I can't get you out of my mind." I kissed him just as the bell rang. I know I move fast, but I have a mission and I don't know how much time I have so what ever it takes I'll do it. I'm daddy's little girl always out to get the gold star.

He slid of the hood and right against me. He kissed me this time.

"I need to go to class babe, but I'll see you afterwards." He kissed my forehead and jogged away.

I sat on the hood again, because I had the period off. I laid back and looked up at the sky doing this with Ian grew on me. It was just so peaceful watching the clouds move away, as the minutes did.

"See anything interesting." I looked up and saw Ian watching me.

"Just time going by." I lay back down and looked up.

"So TJ?" Ian said as he lay next to me again

"Yes." I turned my head and looked at him.

"Why leave me for him?"

"Because I'm tired of wasting my feelings on you. You only compared me too Jasmine. You used words like sweet and then just stopped because you were afraid." I stood up and walked away to get my desired dramatic affect. I walked over to my next class, while waiting for the bell. As it rung TJ came out of the class I have to go into. He had the biggest smile on his face when he saw me. He wrapped his arms around me and just hugged me for a while. This actually really felt good, even though he is human. It has no attachments. I don't need to be with him. It would have been perfect if I didn't trick him into it.

"I missed you so much." He kissed my forehead again. I know people don't like him because of what he knows, but he is a real sweetheart.

"Okay I have to get in glass before I get in trouble." I kissed his lips lingering before slipping into the class. The whole period I only thought about when I would have to break it off with TJ. It's worse than it was with Ian, because he seems to care more. I know I could have tricked Ian and Ethan the same way, but my dad said we had to get them to trust us, to follow us around the world and he is giving us time so I don't think I should use my power on them.

When I walked out of the class I saw TJ waiting for me.

"Can I drive you home?" He anxiously said. He was so excited.

"Sure." I took his hand and let him walk me to my next class. I was pretty excited for him to drive me home. Ian never offered and Ethan only drove me by default and on our date. When the bell rang I practically jumped out of my chair and ran to the door and once I saw TJ right into his arms. We walked to his car.

'I'm riding home with TJ.' I send to my sister. We got in the car and he started it.

"What do you want to listen? I have about everything?" He pulled out a few folders and I started going through them.

"Taylor swift...one direction...Britney spears..."

"Is there something I should know? This is all..."

"No I'm straight trust me it's so that who ever rides with me have entertainment." I smiled at him even though it just proves to me that he likes bringing a lot of different girls in his car. I kept going through the folders until I found Within Temptation. I slipped it in and started listening to it. I've been obsessed with them since vampire diaries season 1 episode 19 where Damon and Elena dance together. Within temptations song "all I need" plays through the miss mystic falls dance. Throughout the drive to my house I listened to the CD just enjoying it. It was great, even TJ got into it after he admitted that it was the first time he actually listened to it. We pulled up at my house. We sat there in the car listening to music.

"I don't have a lot on Ethan he's a lot like you. All I have is about you two. He doesn't really care if people find out about it."

"Yeah he is private." Ethan was a lot like me. He liked playing games with girls and I'm playing all of them . We both didn't care enough to be threatened.

"But Ian well I have a lot on him."

"TJ I don't care. Now kiss me." I needed a distraction. I didn't want to think about them. He kissed me passionately, but I ended up pulling away.

"Okay I'll see you tomorrow." I kissed him again and as I was about to get out of the car when he pulled me back.

"Can I pick you up tomorrow?" I smiled at him. This was the first time I actually get to ride with guys. And he is asking me like a gentleman.

"Sure, thanks!" I kissed his cheek and went inside.

"Bad girl falling for the nice football player?" Seriena joked.

"No, I know where I stand it's just that I like how he acts around me." She just laughed and walked to her room. After doing my homework and taking a long deserved bath I went to bed. As soon as my head hit the pillow I was out like a candle.

"Having fun Analize." My dad said with a pissed look on his face.

"I know what I'm doing, father please just let me do my part."

"I'm just saying, you're with some other guy and you keep ignoring the two guys you should be with."

"Dad it's called jealousy." I sighed.

"Okay I'll trust you, but I'm always watching and listening." Then I fell back into sleep.

I woke up feeling slightly irritated because my dad doubted me. I took a shower and straightened my dark hair. Circled my eyes with black eyeliner and added mascara.

I dressed in a blue jean that got darker all the way down with a loose flowy white and a blue floral top and blue pump high heels. With it I wore a gold bracelet with blue sapphires and matching earrings. I walked down stairs and just as I grabbed a cereal bar I heard TJ's car pulling up. I grabbed my school bag and started walking to the door.

"I'm leaving see you at school!" I yelled to my sisters.

I walked out to the car and got in. Memories by within temptation was playing. I kissed him quick and put on my seat belt. We took off for school.

Today was going to be a short day. We have three periods and lunch then we are all going to an assembly for Saturdays football game. After the assembly we can all go home. We stopped at school and with his arm around my shoulder we started to walk to the school building.

"TJ! Come check this out!" He looked over to his friends and then back to me.

"Go I'll be fine."

"Okay I'll see you later today." He kissed me and ran to his friends. I kept on walking. Just as I walked inside I got pulled into a room again. That could only mean one thing...Ethan.

I was against the now closed door of what looked like a janitors closet.

"Ethan what do you want?"

"Well hi to you too?" He said smiling big it was really weird seeing him smile like this.

"What do you want?"

"Why are you with TJ?"

"Why not he excites me?"

"And what am I chopped liver?" He was in a really weird mood.

"You are getting boring, it's always the same with you. You always pull me into halls, classes, closets..." He kissed me before I could finish. It heated up pretty quick. He was up against me, his hands were holding onto my hips, my hands were in his hair, our lips moving together perfectly. When we broke loose we were both breathing hard. Our foreheads resting together. We were looking into each others eyes.

"We need to stop this I have a boyfriend and I'm late for class."

"This way the halls are empty and no one will see us sneaking out. Except the cameras and Churl."

"Well he won't be a problem anymore."

"No matter what you did he won't be able to resist." He said proudly and then it hit him that he slipped up.

"So that's why he didn't say it was us kissing in the photo."

"You were one of the four that send it in." He laughed.

"Just called your bluff that called mine." I just shook my head at him. He laughed really hard and I joined in. I snorted and that only made him laugh more. He bend down holding his stomach that I knew held a six pack to die for. When he looked back up his blue eyes was filled with tears.

"I'm leaving now." I pushed past him and walked out the door. I was really late for English.

"I'm sorry I'm late miss." I walked in and sat down.

"I'm sorry I was here before you." The teacher replied. I took out my book and followed where she was reading. When the bell rang I only wanted to get out of this class. The teacher called me over.

"You have detention, Monday afternoon, because of the assembly." I took the detention slip out of her hand and walked away. I walked over to my chemistry class. It was nice walking alone without one of the boys nagging in my ear. I got in the class and sat down. The teacher was going on and on. I've never liked chemistry. Biology is more my thing. I really like the anatomy of the human body. A note landed on my table when I was testing myself to see if I could remember the bones. I opened it.

Will you come to my family BBQ tomorrow afternoon after the football game?

I looked up and saw Ian grinning like an i***t.

My boyfriend won't like it?

I looked up and saw his face drop as he looked at the letter. I started daydreaming again when the note landed on my table again.

As a friend?

I looked at him and rolled my eyes.

Fine!

The note landed on my table again.

You can ride with me.

It won't look good if I left the game with someone that isn't my boyfriend. Message me your address.

The note didn't come back, but I felt my phone vibrate in my jean pocket.

The bell shortly rang after that. I only have math left. I walked in the class to see chaos. There wasn't a teacher in the class. I just sat down and waited. I was use to it, I had multiple tutors and when I was done with my one subject I would wait for the next tutor. My sisters and I were split in different rooms. It took me longer than my sisters to finish school, because I only had three hours school a day, because I had to train. The class went silent as I guess the teacher stepped in. I was busy drawing shapes and eyes in my book.

"Your teacher couldn't be here today so I'm taking over the class for her." I looked up to see Jasmine's step mom staring at me, how great. The whole period went by in algebra and glares that could kill.

When the bell rang I smiled at her and left. I was at the cafeteria when I remembered I slid my pencil bag under the table. I went back and looked for it with no luck. She walked into the class and went to the teacher table and sat down.

"Have you seen my pencil bag it's grey with a colourful rainbow on it."

"Yes I have it's right here. I just want to talk to you first." Yeah this day is not one of my favorites. And now she is holding my pencil case hostage.

"Okay sure." I folded my arms across my body and waited for her to talk.

"So you threatened my daughter and then ruined a really expensive top of hers."

"Well I never threatened her more like her name I can't help what flowers I dislike. Have you ever thought that I only just met her before that period, how on earth did I have the time to figure out how to threaten her and get everything I needed in that 5 minutes?"

"And as for her top that wasn't my fault she backed up after beginning the confrontation and her heal broke so she fell over into the bucket of water. And I did go over to help her up, but she was too stubborn."

"Well I'll be keeping my eye on you, there is something off about you." She handed me my pencil bag.

"Breaking down a students self-esteem isn't the smartest thing to do. And fighting your step daughters fights for her...really."

"Why are you whispering?" She asked me.

"Because the walls have ears." I walked out after that and I was right, because Jasmine was standing behind the wall listening in. I started walking back to the cafeteria room. When I got there I stood in the line for food because I was really hungry. I saw my sisters sitting alone, that was new. I looked over the room and I didn't see one guy I knew and I mostly knew the football team, yeah my dad picked specific. They were all probably getting ready for the assembly. When I was only three kids away from my oh so sweet food the bell rang. I cursed out loud and turned to my sisters. I was ready to kill someone they only had to look at me the wrong way right now.

"Calm down, before your head explodes." Seriena said.

"Then give me food." A apple appeared in my hand. We started moving to the bleachers.

Everyone was pushing to get there so I couldn't eat. When my ass hit the seat I took a bite into my big red apple.

"No eating!" A prefect said taking my apple right out of my hand . My sisters automatically grabbed my shoulders. I was about to kill that pathetic intruding human when everyone started cheering. I looked at the field and saw the cheerleaders performing in short skimpy red and black cheer outfits.

I rolled my eyes. I can't believe how fake this can sometimes be. I know there are sweet cheerleaders, but this squad has Jasmine and her minions covered in glitter jumping up and down making their skirts lift. I rolled my eyes again to prove my irritation. They formed two lines holding their pom poms in the air making a pathway. The football players started running through it shirtless.

They came to stand in front of the bleachers. I looked them over and saw my three guys standing next to each other in the following order. Ian, TJ, Ethan.

All of their eyes found me at the same time. They were clearly searching for me. Yes I decided to have fun and waved at them. All three lifted their hands to wave back. They all noticed too since they looked at each other in confusion and started mumbling to one another.

I took the time to look over their bodies. They all looked so...Yummy. Ethan was the first one who stopped talking and looked up, noticing me checking him out. I winked at him and turned to their coach who has been yelling a motivational speech into the microphone.

He started toning it down. Some kids started to get up and leave. The football guys kept standing there. I ran down the steps towards them. I ran right up to TJ. He put his arms around me and spun us around . I kissed him knowing Ethan and Ian was watching.

I pulled away.

"I'll catch a ride with my sisters I'll see you tomorrow morning before the game." I kissed him quick again before leaving. I didn't forget to throw a wave over my shoulder at Ian and Ethan.

I got in the car and waited for my sisters to come. I wanted to get home and eat.
