When Tate got to his room, he wondered if he should call Zavier to tell him he was coming back. I know he set this up, damn him. He has no business messing with my private life. Not that I have anything remotely like a life now, private or otherwise, except when it comes to work. He realized, as he began to undress, he wasn’t the least bit tired after his unplanned nap. He was, however, hungry. But everyone’s probably still down there, including Van. So I’ll give them a few minutes to disband. It’s late enough they should be heading to bed if there really is a six A.M. wakeup call. Putting his shirt on again, he looked around, found the book he’d been reading on the floor by the chair, picked it up and settled down to read after finding his place again. He barely turned to the next page
