I spun around expecting his eyes to be black like the last time he was this possessive but to my surprise they stayed vibrant green, and it was Benson talking. “Benson, it’s okay. He’s just trying to look out for me. Up until a few days ago, neither of us knew they were your sons either so, don’t take it personally.” I said hurriedly.
He looked down at me and I tried my best to keep him occupied on me. “I’m not going anywhere.” I reassured him and, for once, I believed myself and the smile on my lips was earnest. “I’m not going anywhere.”
