Once my father set’s his mind to something, there are very few people who can change it. Actually, I think there are only two people who can change it and their names are Duncan and Ricky. “Follow me.” Dad said and Julie and I complied without hesitation. It was strange being back in this house, but the more I see it, the more I feel like I should move back. The penthouse won’t be conducive to raising children. There’s nowhere for them to be well…kids.
However…. Seeing the worry in Julie’s eyes and the pain in Duncan’s I noticed he was a little smaller than his brother in stature, but I never knew it was because he was ill. You would never know just by looking at him. I was so busy learning about Julie, I guess the boys’ medical records slipped my mind.
