I was standing, looking at him worriedly Everything happened so fast. I didn't know what to do. Zargos told me to not reveal my identity because no one would even listen to me. And I, for sure knew, that it's dangerous to open up so early.
Yeah, he was my mate. But I‘ve heard enough stories for rejected mates. If he knew who I am, would he still want me for his mate? He had other options too. If I reveal who I am, he could easily reject me, kill me and mate with Jasmine or Miranda.
Would he believe me that I have nothing to do with this war and I wasn't seeking revenge?
