Last time they've been attacked, I didn't hear a siren. I tried to catch up with her, but I kept falling behind.
She shouted behind her shoulder.
“THEY MANAGED TO BREAK THROUGH THE DEFENSE”
I stopped dead in my tracks. Panic flooded me. I knew If I felt threatened, I would show my powers. I had to be alone somewhere.
