He held back the hurry in his heart and said calmly as far as possible: "Paddy, what's the matter?"
"Howar, I just got off the bus, but my snake skin bag was cut and our wages were stolen." Paddy choked.
Howar almost fainted. He earned the money at the construction site for a year. It was stolen by thieves. More importantly, he had to pay his father's treatment fee. If the money was gone, let alone the new year, his father's illness would not be cured.
But Paddy certainly didn't want this sudden disaster to happen. Blaming him was unnecessary, but it would make him more sad.
