Something In Those Eyes

After school I drove as fast as my car would let me, when I got to Marcus’ place there were a lot of cars outside and that meant everyone was here, including some people that I had never met before. The guard at the gate simply let me in without questions, I thought no one knew me but clearly Marcus made sure they did. I parked my small car next to all the fancy cars that were parked in the parking space outside the garage and slowly walked in. The last thing I wanted was to walk in on Marcus killing someone, after the way he looked the last time someone threw themselves at me I feared the way he would react and the way he would behave the moment he found the black mailers. “My love!” exclaimed Marcus as I walked in, it was like no one even noticed me when I walked in except Marcus because they all literally ignored my presence. Marcus was so jealous, even his crew wasn’t allowed to pay any attention to me. “Hey love” I greeted back as he grabbed my hand intertwining our fingers and pulling me for a kiss. I was so glad the ‘permission thing he had going on was over “Let’s go to my office, I can’t wait to show you what we found” he said and my heart leaped for joy “I can’t wait to see and hear what you found” I said as he led me to an office that I hadn’t recognised before because it was in the hidden folds of the house. “Piet, do not disturb me. Important or not I will not be disturbed” he commanded in a controlled but in charge tone and Piet nodded and gave me a brief smile. Since I had walked in this was the first time Piet had even looked at me...how strange. “So what did you find?” I asked as soon as he closed the door “Easy tiger” he said as he kissed me passionately, folding my body perfectly into his but still not crossing any boundaries, my knees became weak at the thought of what a gentleman he was. “What was that for?” I asked as he finally let me breathe and he smile seductively “that was to remind you how much I love you and to tell you how happy I am that spring break has began and now I have you all to myself” he said and I just melted in his arms, I felt like I would lose my balance and fall... Goodness what was this man doing to a teenager like me? “Ok enough flirting, you making me lose focus” I said and he smirked and let me go and walked around to his desk. His office was perfectly furnished with wood and he had some souvenirs of animal heads hung on the wall, another part of him I didn’t know and I guessed no one else knew it. But I guess that did make sense because in away, Marcus was a hunter and he always caught his prey. The mere thought of anyone being Marcus’ prey gave me chills down my spine. “So I will show you a picture, and I need you to tell me if you recognise the person.” He said and I nodded He perused through his laptop pictures and finally landed on a picture of the most handsome man I had ever seen. I know I shouldn’t be saying this because I already am dating the most handsome man and I am aware of how much of a slut this made me sound, but, there was just something about this guy. His eyes spoke volumes without even saying anything something about him was genuine. I started at the picture studying this angelic man’s features, the forest green eyes, the long hair tied into a ponytail. I wondered how he looked without the ponytail or when his hair was untied. Getting lost in his eyes was the easiest thing that I had ever done. “no I don’t think I know him” I said after I cleared my throat hoping Marcus didn’t realise that I was drooling over this stranger that I had to remind myself to hate, because he could possibly be the man behind my misfortune and discomfort. “So who is he?’ I asked when I finally arrived back in planet earth and to reality. “This man seems to have some deep connection with your father and mother his name is Alexander Pierce, I have met him quite a few times but it was strictly business. I can’t say I know him but I am damn sure your mother does. Dou you want to ask her about him?” he asked and I immediately shook my head. I couldn’t risk my mother knowing I was digging “No, is that all you know?” I asked “I also know that his father and your had some kind of a very close relationship with him but that relationship dissipated after some kind of disagreement they had. So I have set up a meeting with him and we are meeting him for lunch tomorrow” he said and my eyes widened in shock, panic and a little fear. “Really... Does he know I am going to be there” I asked “Relax, I told him it’s a business meeting. You just calm down and know that as long as I am there with you, not even a hair on your head will be displaced” he said and I smiled nervously, the thought of meeting the angel who could also be a demon scared the s**t out of me.
