Chapter 6
“Exhausted?” Carson whispered into Jonas’s ear as he leaned in closer to his ex-boyfriend on the back seat of the car.
It had been three days since they had their first lunch together. The two of them didn’t abruptly become bosom buddies, but their relationship was much less strained now. Since then, Carson started to accompany Jonas at the back of the car instead of occupying the seat next to the driver as he had done at the beginning.
“Yeah,” Jonas admitted, and Carson liked hearing the casual and easy tones in his ex-boyfriend’s voice. He felt as if they were much closer to each other now. “The meeting with the director and other members of the production team went into overtime.”
