  GRACE   “Stay with me,” he said with a voice heavy with yearning, a kind that resurrected the feelings I had killed and buried within myself years ago.   Aside the fact that Connor Shelby had a charm and body that was too hard to resist, I couldn’t deny the glaring truth in me that I needed him. I needed him inside of me.   I stared into his eyes after he said those words, and with all the courage I had been garnering ever since the moment we met at Dior’s Diner, I asked him to take me to his room.   I saw a hint of surprise flit across his eyes as he took my hands and walked me out of Laurel’s room, quietly closing the door behind him to avoid waking her up.   With our fingers still clasped together, he led me to the door next to Laurel’s room, turn the knob and pushed it open.
