  GRACE   Monday morning came too slowly, giving me enough time to rest, but somehow I was running late in getting Laurel ready for school.   I dressed her up as quickly as possible, made her breakfast and packaged her lunch. I took the keys of the new car Connor got me after countless minutes of back and forth deliberations.   Should I?
