Ava and Dylan continued to stare looking at each other. A loud growl that sounded almost painful was heard from somewhere deeper in the woods making them both turn and look in that direction.
“Let’s head back. We don’t want to end up battling every magical creature on this island.” Dylan turned to look back at Ava who slowly nodded her head. They both walked in silence at first in the direction of the university. Dylan trailing just slightly behind Ava. She hadn’t said anything since his confession and he was beginning to feel anxious.
