MARCELLO TROCELLI P.O.V
"If the next girl walked in two pieces, I would not be surprised." Raf spat through gritted teeth just as I stepped inside my office, making me roll my eyes at him.
"Relax, she's the last one, and if it doesn't work out, then I promise I'll drop this idea." I assure him.
The door opened for the third and last time which made me sigh yet there was some kind of excitement blooming inside me.
I know who is coming next. Just thinking about her, a strange kind of pride made my heart full. I have never seen such a passionate woman. The way she was talking about architecture, the garden, how her eyes were twinkling while defining the flower and explaining to me the meaning. How she twisted her lips when she complained how horrible the person is who doesn't water the plant.
Charlotte's head pops through the door "Sir, she's here."
"Let her in." I demanded with a firm voice, dusting my imaginary wrinkle and setting my hair.
I looked at Raf, who gave me "ARE YOU SERIOUS?" eyes.
I ignored him and just then she came inside, taking my breathe away. For the second time today, without shame I will say she is the most beautiful yet simplest woman I have ever seen. She was looking more flawless now as her hair is nicely tucked behind her ears. She was looking at the floor and then at Charlotte, who in return pushed her more inside the room.
I looked at Rafael, and he was looking at her with wide eyes. I knew then and there he was also thinking the same. How gorgeous and innocent. He pulls his chair more towards me and sticks to my other side like glue.
"Have a seat Miss. Wilson." I spoke, making her face jerk up.
She looked at me with horror, making her hazel eyes pop out with golden hues. She was staring at me like she saw ghosts.

AVA WILSON P.O.V
The same deep voice, which I was thinking about before entering the cabin. The same man whom I was talking non stop. The man who saw me ramble and listened to my gibberish talk sat there with my resume.
I gulped down my breathe as I realized he was none other than Mr. Trocelli.
Come to think, now I'm noticing him. His midnight blue tailor suit perfectly fit his figure. He had thick, dark brown hair that curled softly around his ears and at the nape of neck. His sharp nose is perfectly straight and narrow. A strong jaw and a pair of dark blue eyes that flicker with disdain.
He is definitely an attractive man, the dark colour of his hair and blue seductive eyes and his pinkish pouty lips. Just looking at him I can bet he is an Italian man before listening to his name.
"Oh God Kill Me." I squeeze my eyes shut silently thinking about a thousand ways to run from here.
But Lily's face made me walk ahead and I cautiously made my way to the chair and sat down with grace. I gave a soft smile and held my trembling hand out. "Mr. Trocelli, my name is Ava Wilson, nice to meet you Sir." I spoke.

MARCELLO TROCELLI P.O.V
Okay that's it. This girl is making me more impressed. I have never seen a woman like her seriously, the way her eyes were shaking in fear, her hand trembling but she didn't let it bother her and held her hand out without giving us any sign of her nervousness.
I shocked her frail tiny hand "Marcello Trocelli and this is my best friend Rafael Solano." I replied and introduced Raf, who didn't let the chance go and like the player he is, he extended his hand and took her, giving his picky disgusting comments "Pleasure to meet you Angel."
"No, sir, the pleasure is all mine. Watching two great personalities sitting together, what more I would ask for. Your works, your achievements talk more about you." She complimented my ego.
"I like her, Let's hire her!" Raf replied, letting out a victory smile. I shot him a flat look and rolled my eyes.
"Thank You."
"So, Ms. Wilson, it says here you have no degree or diploma from college. Is there a reason for this?" I asked, glancing at the resume then at Ava.
"I....I...sort of quit school." She muttered under her breath.
Indeed it was embracing to be talking about this but how come she doesn't have any degree when she knows so much about architecture.
"Why? Isn't education the most important thing to you?" I asked, raising my brows.
Rafael kicked my feet, shooting me a red beam from his eyes. He found my question too blunt and personal.
"Yes sir, I do believe education is important but unfortunately, it was out of my budget. I....I didn't have enough money to pay." She silently admitted.
That intrigued me. Why did she not complete her study? From the way she was talking, I can bet my life she was crazy about her studies but what could be the matter that she had to drop her study. It's not that expensive to afford study now. There were many study loans and banks who easily gave money, so why?
"I know this might be a little personal, and I wouldn't force you to answer if you don't want to, but why did you not take anybody's help. There were many banks who were offering study loans"
She stared at me for a second like she didn't really want to answer my question.
So I waited and waited for her answer but none came and I knew it was too personal.
"Miss. Wilson, it's quite alright. I don't need you to answer such a personal question. I understand." I said and watched her shift uncomfortably at her seat.
"So, tell me, Miss. Wilson, why should I hire you?" I asked her, tapping my own finger against the table.
"I believe that you should hire me, because I am a very hard working person as I run my own flower shop alone so I wouldn't feel any pressure of work. I work if it is my passion. I do my job properly and I try my best on everything that I do. And yes I am a fast learner. Teach me something right now and I'll remember it for the rest of my life. I will not give you a chance to hear a single complaint from me." She answered boldly with a proud smile.
I looked at Rafael and at the same time he also looked at me. We both have this knowing smile like we won a match.
"You have your shop and then why this job Miss. Wilson?" I curiously asked.
"ahh...I...I needed the money Sir." She murmured slowly, making my eyes twinkle.
What a bastard I am? I should feel sad listening to her problem but I'm feeling at the top of the moon.
"I want to help you, Ms. Wilson." I slowly said as Ava looked at me with a serious expression. "
"I'm going to offer you another job, a job that I'm sure will help your money problem." I explained.

AVA WILSON P.O.V
"What kind of a job?" I asked as curiosity peeked through my mind. I had no idea what was going on inside Mr. Torcelli's head. Why would he offer me another job when he was looking for a personal assistant?
"I can tell that you are confused, but as you already know many applied for this job and you are below everyone. Your qualification is not enough for this job." Mr. Trocelli confidently spoke and my face fell upon hearing the truth.
"However, this job I am offering you right now, I guarantee that I will be able to hand it to you. Ms. Wilson, I'm willing to pay you One Million Dollar." He announced, making my eyes wide and mouth agape.
"On....One....Mil...llion....Dollar."
"That's right, One Million Dollar." He again repeated.
I let everything sink in my mind and tried to wrap all the information. One million dollars is a lot of money. It would not only help me pay for Lily's treatment and medical Bill's but also I can easily build the flower shop again. I can pay the rent and also I can finally achieve my dream. It will finally be a dream come true. All I have to do is accept the offer and the jobs.
But what is the job that he was ready to pay one million dollars for? With a beating heart and crossed fingers I asked "What's the job?"
The room became silent and my blood flowed directly to my head watching the two amazingly looking men stare at me with a serious expression.
"MY HIRED BRIDE." He bluntly told me.
And at the same time his friend said "HIS HIRED BRIDE."
And that was the perfect time my heart started to beat so loudly, making my head spin with their words echoing around the rooms. I looked at them with wide eyes as their figure started to fade. I tried to stand up but my legs gave up and my eyes rolled out of my head.
"AVA...." Mr. Trocelli screamed as my head fell back on the chair, taking me into a deep slumber.
