She thought she could sneak out of the dance unnoticed, but he knew. He always knew where Charlotte went. He may have been with Rose, but he was watching her like always. She was with Darrin—of course—but she didn’t seem happy about it.
Brady never cared about Darrin and Charlotte’s privacy when they were in public. He may have kept Rose from the conversation he was listening to, but he sure knew what was bothering Charlotte. Frankly, he was glad Darrin was f*****g it up.
