The only go thing that came out of the meeting that I had with the elders was the fact that I realized that Anaiah was still in love with me. Of course, the mate bond wasn’t something that could be easily broken. Of course, she couldn’t have forgotten me so easily despite the fact that Michael had been trying his best to make her forget me. His desperation was clear in the way he had just marked her and I knew that that wasn’t something that she had agreed to, I knew that he had forced himself on her and that he had probably been having s*x with her against her own will because I knew that there was no way that Anaiah would have willingly had s*x with him.
