MICHAEL’S POV
I could see that something had changed between me and Anaiah and the only person that I had to blame for that was Max. His arrival here had just turned things upside down for Anaiah and me and I wasn’t sure of how I was going to get Anaiah to continue opening up to me like she was. Somehow, Max had convinced her once again that I was the bad guy and all she could talk about was how I had done her wrong and how controlling I was. All I wanted was to make sure that she remembered the good times that we had shared together and I didn’t know how I was going to do that. I wasn’t sure how I could get close to her again.
