Chapter 10The call came from Giulio that the park was now secure. As best the police could confirm for him, everyone had left and armed officers guarded the main entrances. It was the call Vilmos had been waiting for.
Leaving Matteo to secure the car, Vilmos got out, and headed toward the park. He didn’t waste time waiting for Matteo. Assuming the boy would follow, he strode purposefully to the gathering of armed police.
Hazard tape covered the entrance to a pathway that led towards a dense copse of trees within the park. Standing still Vilmos looked in that direction. His preternatural senses told him there was a demonic presence in the near vicinity.
