Chapter Twenty-One
EVAN
Seven days pass by in a blink, and every morning, I’ve woken up with Emily in my arms. We’ve quickly fallen into a routine, and each morning, we have a cup of coffee before work, take turns making breakfast, and often shower together to save water, or at least that’s the joke. Though the Richard thing pisses me the f**k off, he’s only given us an unexpected opportunity to move our relationship to another level. Usually, I’d have taken things much slower, but now that she’s practically living with me, I don’t want her to leave.
