ABIGAIL’S POV
I slowly open my eyes trying to recall what happened when someone speak, “Now explain” someone said with authority. I look at that person and it was the guy who saved me earlier. I rapidly sit straight and face him.
“Where am I?” I asked him while roaming my eyes around. This place is huge, no, it is just a room! This place is amazing! The architectural design, furniture and color is totally insane! It has a paint of gray which gives a dim ambiance but very elegant looking. My face hurts but I noticed that it’s already gauged.
“I said explain” he looks very serious and it’s kicking me! Maybe I could trust him. He already saved my life and I promised to tell him everything once we get out there.
“My aunt and uncle killed me. I got into a car accident and they are responsible for it. My car crashed and I died. This is what happened to my face” he looks confused.
“What do you mean you died?” he asks in disbelief and curiosity.
“I was dead for twenty hours since yesterday that I got into an accident and I was reborn” it seems very supernatural and expectedly he looks surprised and with disbelief.
“I know it sounds impossible but you wouldn’t be talking to me right now if I wasn’t reborn” I told him. I know it needs so much explanations before he could catch it up and understand everything.
“And why are you running earlier? Yous said someone will kill you?” oh, that one
“That man said he will help me out but unknowingly he wanted to… r**e me” I said in a low tone. I couldn’t hide the dismay in my face and the anger. He remained silent like he’s starting to understand everything.
“What happened?” he asked again.
“My aunt and uncle want me dead so manipulate my car to make it appear that I died due to car accident but the truth is, it was their plan” I told him.
“How did you know that?”
“I told you I was reborn. When I was dead my spirit travels back and that’s when I knew the truth”
***FLASHBACK***
I was awakened at the same room but I couldn’t find Kent there. What just happened? The last time I remember we are talking and drinking when I suddenly fell asleep and he tried to do something on me when and when I resist him, he became aggressive and forced me but I am sure I got something and hit him in the head. Before I lose my senses… I saw him coming to me and I couldn’t remember anything.
I slowly walk out while Kent is not even here, where is he? I get inside my car and drive home when I suddenly lose brake. I panicked and try my best to still control it but when I am about to turn the car left, it run straight causing to bump the tree straight to me and everything went dark.
I wake up in a familiar place. This is my room. I mean my old-designed room. Why am I even here? I walk downstairs and saw mom and dad eating.
“Mom? Dad?” I called them but it seems like they don’t hear me. I walk even closer to catch their attention but they didn’t see me. I walked outside and I saw a child holding a doll… wait… IS THAT ME? this is exactly the same scenario when mom and dad died. I saw a man get in the car like he’s doing something from it and when he comes out, I followed him. He’s going at the backyard and he’s meeting uncle Ben. I listened to their conversation.
“Are you done?” uncle Ben asked the man.
“Yes, I am sure that the brake of the car won’t work” wait, what? He broke the brake of my parent’s car? What the hell is happening? And uncle Ben? He did this to my parents. How can he do that to dad? He is his brother!
“Now, I can successfully have the wealth that they have! You can go now” they end the conversation and uncle Ben walk inside, he talks to mom and dad like he’s not planning something. Mom and dad is leaving.
“MOM! DAD! DON’T GO! THE BRAKE OF THE CAR IS BROKEN!” I am shouting them but they can’t hear me. I blocked the way but to my surprise they passed me like I’m… a soul.
“MOM! DAD! STOP!” SH*T! THEY CAN’T GO OR ELSE THEY’LL DIE!
“DON’T GO! THE BRAKE IS BROKEN! UNCLE BEN WANTED YOU DEAD!” this is useless! I’ve been shouting and trying to stop them but it’s not working. I saw the child, which is me, looking at mom and dad while leaving.

“We have something to tell you?” – Aunt Rose
“What’s that Aunt Rose?” I am looking at myself and this is how they manipulate me.
“Your mom and dad…”
“Why? What happened to them?” I was so clueless and innocent back then.
“They’re gone…” Aunt Rose said. I see my younger self cried while Aunt Rose and Uncle Ben is secretly smiling. Guess their plan worked.

“Cheers! Finally, the company is ours” Aunt Rose said while grinning.
“I lose my inherited wealth so I’m taking away his” he’s probably referring to dad. How can he do that? Dad is his brother!
“What about the child?” Aunt Rose asked
“We will be taking care of her and besides she cannot rule the company so we will be doing that” – uncle Ben.
“You’re the best, I love you” aunt Rose said and kiss uncle Ben. They really are meant for each other, a demon lover!

“Aunt Rose, since I will be graduating, I decided to take over the position that dad left. That’s what I studied about right? And besides after all, mom and dad inherit their wealth to me” this is the time that I will be graduating and told them about my plan of taking over the company that they currently govern but they always changed the subject to avoid discussing about it.
“W-What? I thought you want to be an actress?”
“Yeah, and you have a future in artistry and it’s easy for you to get in. I will help you with that, we have a lot of connection”
“You will be popular and get a lot of money from that career”
“Aunt, Uncle, my decision is final. I want to do this with my own and besides being an actress was just a child-dream that I have before and now that I am mature enough, it’s about time”
Their reaction darkened and now everything is clear. They never want me to inherit the wealth of my mom and dad.

“Now I’m ready to take over in governing the company”
This was during our graduation and for the second time they don’t want to talk about it but I am too assertive of discussing it.
“Let’s talk about that later. For now, we need to celebrate, right hon?” Aunt Rose said.
“Yeah, let’s talk about that later”
That’s why they don’t want to talk about it because they’re afraid that I’ll inherit everything and nothing will be left for them.
“You know what Abigail, I already talked to someone from showbiz industry and they’re willing to let you in. Why don’t you try in the meantime?”
Funny how hard they tried to convince me but I was so blind to believe that their intention was clear.
“It would be better if you’ll try. What do you think?”
“I have made my mind and that’s final. Starting tomorrow I will be training. Besides, all the board members knew that mom and dad inherit all their wealth and stocks to me as what the attorney said, you know that aunt Rose, right?”
At the end they have nothing to do. I was ready that time and wanted to take part in the company but that trigger them.

“We have to do something”
“I know what to do. We will let her in temporarily”
“What do you mean?”
“We will do what we did to her parents but we will be needing someone to help us”
“Who?”
“I will take care of it”

“Hon this is Kent, we will let her in to the company and we will make Abigail fall for her and soon we will poison her with the help of Kent”
“Hi” Kent spoke.
So, he’s one of them? I can’t believe this! I thought he really loves me but that was just a show and he’s after wealth too! F*cking jerk!
“How can you prove your loyalty?”
“I am loyal to those who feed me enough. Your price will tell” Kent said.
This was all their plan and I am very clueless about it. They made me believe with their show! Such a great hypocrite!

I look foolish how he made me believe with his flowering words. Kent walks to the table and pour a glass of wine on the glass and put something on it. I think that’s a sleeping pills because if that was a poison I wouldn’t be awaken after drinking it. He hands me the glass with the pill and I sip it and until I get a little dizzy and that’s when he started to force me…

GRRRR I THAT’S THE WAY THAT I WILL BE ABLE TO KNOW THE TRUTH. I AM SURE THAT KENT DID HIS INTENTION TO ME, I REALLY BELIEVE. BUT WHY?? I’m almost there to see the truth but grrr this is so frustrating!!
“Did you, do it?” uncle Ben asked Kent the moment it get down. It was also their plan.
“Yeah”
“Let me see the pill” Kent handed him the pill and uncle looks frustrated.
“THIS IS NOT THE ONE! THIS IS JUST A SLEEPING PILL i***t!”
“That’s what you told me to get in your drawer”
“THE THAT ONE, THE OTHER ONE WITH A YELLOW LABEL ON IT!”
“I’m sorry! How would I know that!”
“Okay, get the tools in the trunk and follow me”
They walked to my car and do break what they can to make sure the car will malfunction.
After an hour I saw myself walking down, driving the car and get into an accident.
So, this is what really happened. I didn’t die because it accidentally happens but because it was manipulated.

I am about to enter the room where loud voices of people laughing is in there. I saw them, the three of them laughing and celebrating for another successful plan.
“Now that she’s gone. We can freely have the company and all their wealth!”
“Thank you, Ken, for helping us”
“CHEERS!”
Because of my anger I wanted to hit them but I couldn’t touch them nor they can see me. I leave the place so I could not see their faces. I’ll make sure they will pay for this! A bright light suddenly appears so I followed it but I heard voices calling me back so I decided to walk back and…

“I came back to life and wake up at the room where dead bodies to be embalm is placed” I end telling him everything and he started to understand everything.
“That was so cruel. What are your plans now?” he asked. All I know is I wanted revenge.
“Vengeance” he was surprised but I think he already expected that.
“How are you going to do that?” he asked. I look straight into his face and speak.
“Help me take back what is rightfully mine. I don’t know what should I do for you to help me but I’m begging please help me and I will do everything as what you say” I straightly said in to his face. He thinks about it and after a moment he response
“Okay. I will help you. It seems that you’re stating the truth but I still have to do further research about you” he said.
“Thank you! Thank you so much!”
“As of now you can have a rest and we will discuss about it tomorrow” he stands and about to leave when I speak.
“I didn’t know who you are yet. I am Abigail Kaye Monte Verde, and you are?” I told him.
“Rylle. James Rylle Laurel” he said without bothering to look at me and continued to walk.
