As I sat in the waiting room of the ultrasound clinic, anticipation and nerves coursed through me in equal measure. Today was the day my partner and I would finally learn the gender of my baby, a moment I had eagerly awaited for weeks. I was already six months pregnant and i was loving it. She felt so alive with every kick i felt closer to her than ever. I waited this long because I wanted the gender yo be a surprise but everyone was so excited i had to schedule an appointment.
