I furrowed my brows as I stared at the man. Why would he hit her? Is he not one of her men? Did he just snitch on her? When he saw that Callidora had passed out, he began to walk towards my direction and that brought fear to my body. I began to think that he wanted to hit me the same way he hit Callidora, but then again, he wouldn't have hit her or made her pass out if truly he was with her.
Does that mean that a savior had to come to my rescue?
