Fiona's POV
It was a few minutes past six when I excused myself from Alpha Adrian's room because I wanted to see someone. Alpha Adrian had said she had asked after me earlier. I walked straight to her room, and since the door wasn't locked, I just pushed it open and walked in. The first thing that came into my view was the little girl that was lying on the bed, with several machines connected to her body. She looked so pale, like someone who lacked blood in her body, but I know that she didn't. There was enough blood in her body, plus she was undergoing a blood transfusion at the moment.
I walked further into the room after closing the door behind me. I sat down on the chair beside the bed and I took her small hands into mine. It was so cold.
