Adrian's POV
“What is it about her?” I asked Alpha Maxwell, but he didn't say anything. He just turned back to see if anyone was listening to our conversation, and I noticed that some of the Alphas were paying close attention to it.
“We can't talk here. So come with me,” He whispered before walking out of the conference hall and I followed suit. We were now standing on the terrace, where he was sure that no one would hear us. I found myself wondering what he wanted to say to me about Callidora that he didn't want other Alphas to know.
“Adrian!” He called and I turned around to face him.
“Yes, Maxwell,” I answered.
“Do you know why I called you here?” He asked but I shook my head.
“No. I have no idea,”
