The tribrid princess finds her long lost mate

Chapter 2

Five years later. It was Eves thirteenth birthday today. And they had still not found a trace of Cameron which made Lorcan a little sad, but he knew that Eve would find him one day, so he kept going on with his life. It was like any normal day. Eve was walking to school with her mother. And they talked about everything and how she missed her prince every day.

“Mom, I can’t feel him anymore, what if something is wrong?” said Eve.

“The witch might have used a spell to hide him which is why you won’t be able to feel him, or he is too far away for you to feel each other. If something was wrong or he was dead, then believe me you would be the first one to know. So don’t worry sweetie.” Said Genevieve.

“You’re right mum. He is still alive out there somewhere and I will find him one day.” Said Eve.

Genevieve felt so proud of her daughter in that moment and smiled at her while hugging her to her chest. Eve always liked her mother’s hugs because she always felt calm and safe in those arms.

She hid her identity at school so only the teachers and the principle knew about her real identity. Her mother had made sure of it. They were a few meters away from school. Eve said goodbye to her mother and told her that she would see her again after school. Genevieve always came to pick her up after school.

After she had said goodbye to her mother, then she walked the rest of the way by herself to school. When she is walking in front of the school building her two friends came from behind her and screamed “Good morning”. She jumps and then rolled her eyes at her friends for scarring her so early. Her friends laughed and then walked next to her.

Her two best friends name is Jessie and Jace. They are twins. Jessie and Jace looks the same except that Jessie is the sassy one out of the two and has one lip piercing and pierced ears. He likes to listen to rock music, so he dresses like that to, while Jace dresses more like an emo kid. And has one pierced lip and Pierced ears and one nose piercing at the right side of the nose. He also listens to rock music but is the serious and quiet one out of the two. They are Hybrids. They are part Lycan and part witch. They also know about Eve being the daughter of The Lycan king. They grew up with her and are also her guardians that the moon goddess gave her after Cameron got kidnapped. Jessie and Jace are Lees little brothers, and he has trained them himself ever since he knew that they were her guardians. Lee felt so proud of his brothers for being the Princess guardians.

Eve likes spending time with the twins. They chatted and talked about her birthday party and walked inside the school building and walked to their lockers and when she opened her locker her three other friends came from behind her and said “happy birthday” which made her jump from fright and then looked behind her and looked sternly at them for scaring her. They just laughed and gave her a hug. The triplets are her other friends. Their name is: Cassy, Casey, Charlie. Charlie is the oldest out of the three with beach blond hair, forest green eyes and a sharp nose. And Casey is the second out of the three, he has blond dirty shoulder-length hair and pierced ears and one piercing at the right side of the lip. Has sky blue eyes. Cassy is the youngest of the three and she has shoulder-length dirty shining blond hair. She has also pierced ears. She is also the sassy one out of the three. Charlie is the calmest and serious out of the three, Casey is the prankster and crazy one out of the three.

They watched eve with their puppy eyes, and she rolled her eyes at them and then laughed at them for being silly. Then there is the funny part and that is that they are also her guardians except that they have another purpose which they haven’t figured out yet. She took out her math books and then closed her locker at the same time as the twins. Then they all walked to their math lesson which they sucked at and hated. Eve hated math and found it boring and so did the others. The math lesson was 40 minutes long. After their math class was over, they sighed and stretched their body then they stood up and walked out of the classroom and walked to their lockers to change books. The put their math books in their lockers and then took out their history books and then closed their lockers and walked to their second class which was history. And todays class would be about true mates and the mate bond. Which they found interesting and wanted to know more about. The teacher in charge of the class was Mrs. Lisa and she was a very funny teacher. She talked about how a True mate bond feels like and how rare it is to find your true mate. A true mate is like a soul bond and the mate bond is much stronger with your true mate then your mate. And this wasn’t exactly anything new to eve because she already knows all this. But her bond to her prince is a little different then what the books describes but then again it has not been very many cases of were a true mate bond has been recorded because they may not have known it or anything. The twins didn’t want a mate and neither did the triplets not until they knew that Eve would be safe from harm. But even if she knew everything about a true mate, she still found it interesting. After their history class was over. They had lunch break before their third period. They walked to the lockers and put their books inside then they walked to the cafeteria to eat lunch. They took their food and then walked to sit at their usual place at the table. Then when they had sat down Eves enemy walked beside their table and smirked at her while calling her a slut. Tracey was the popular girl in the school and almost all the guys in the whole school liked her, but she acts like a b***h and dresses herself like a slut. She always acts like a psychotic b***h against Eve, but she has never succeeded in breaking or bully Eve.

“Oh, here comes the slut.” Said Cassy with a smirk.

“What did you just call me midget?” said Tracey.

“At least I’m taller than you without the need of wearing heels to look taller. And I don’t go around the school looking like a whore.” Said Cassy back with an annoyed tone.

“You!! Keep your dog on a leash Eve or I may punish her one day!” Said Tracey with anger in her voice.

“And what gives you the right to tell me what I should do huh? You are just a nobody so no I won’t. And if you have a problem, you can just say it in my face instead of fighting like a pup with my friend. Do you hear me?” Said Eve annoyed.

“What did you just say. Do you think you are the queen or something. You have no right to act like a b***h to me slut!!” Said Tracey with anger in her voice.

The twins and the triplets started to laugh like crazy people at her comment and just shook their head. They started to wonder how she would act if she knew that the person, she tried to humiliate is the Princess herself. That would be a funny sight to behold.

“Well, you don’t deserve to know but just know this, if you keep act like this, I will retaliate one day and when I do you will regret for ever meeting me!! You have been warned. NOW GET OUT OF MY FACE before I do something to you!!” Yelled Eve with anger laced in her voice.

“You how dare you threaten me I will tell my dad about this!!” Said Tracey.

“Well go ahead but know this, your parents won’t be able to do s**t to me. But if you want to try me then go ahead.” Said Eve looking livid with anger.

The twins and triplets took this as their quo to give Eve her phone. They gave her the phone and then she unlocked it and dialed her father’s number. He picked up the phone.

“Hi baby girl, what’s up sweetheart?” Said Lucien.

“Daddy there is this girl in school that thinks she can humiliate me and be mean to me without consequences and now she threatens me to tell her parents.” Said Eve with sadness laced in her voice and her voice broke while telling her father this.

When he heard his beloved baby girls voice broke, he was livid with anger and yelled for his mate and Lorcan, Ryker to get inside the room. He put the phone on the speaker.

“Sweetheart, what happened?” said Genevieve.

“Mum I was called a slut just now.” Said Eve almost crying with tears in her eyes.

When they heard this her dad and uncles growled so loud that everyone in the cafeteria could hear it. Her mother was livid with anger.

“WHO DARES TO CALL MY BABY A SLUT!!!!” Yelled Gene with pure rage.

“Mom can you guys please come to pick us up? I don’t want to be here anymore for today.” Said Eve.

“Yes, of course sweetie we will come to pick you guys up immediately!” Said Lorcan and Lucien.

“Okey bye, see you soon.” Said Eve then she hangs up the phone.

She smiled and looked at Tracey. And so did the triplets and the twins. The looked so damn happy. They all knew what was about to happen.

“You are so screwed Tracey; my family is coming to pick me up.” Said Eve with a smirk.

“What do you mean?” said Tracey.

“Oh, you will know soon. Good luck.” Said the triplets while smiling.

Then they took their plates and threw them away in the garbage. Then they walked to their lockers and took their bags then they walked outside of the school building and went to the parking lot.

“Do you think she will pee in her pants when she sees your parents?” Said the twins.

“Well, who wouldn’t. my family can be scary when they are angry.” Said Eve.

“Well, that’s true.” Said the triplets.

Then a black limousine came and parked in the parking lot where the stood. Eve winked at the car. As soon as the door opened her mother came running to her and hugged her. Eve cried in her mother’s arms and then her dad and uncles came and hugged them. After she had calmed down her mother and friends went inside the car and closed the door. Then Lucien, Lorcan and Ryker walked inside the school building in anger looking for the girl that hurt their baby girl. When they saw the cafeteria, they stopped and hid behind the wall to listen to what they said.

“Who does she think she is to talk to me in that way?” Said Tracey.

“I don’t know but maybe she is an alphas daughter.” Said Another girl.

“Well, I don’t care, it irritates me how she acts like she owns the whole school.” Said Tracey.

“Don’t you think you went too far by calling her a slut when the slut here is you? And you know it so stop messing with her.” Said the man.

“Why are you defending her for when you are my family!!” Said Tracey.

“I may be your cousin, but I can still see what is right and what is wrong but apparently you can’t even do that, what would auntie and uncle say when I tell them how you acted just now?” said the man.

“Don’t be a jerk. You wouldn’t dare tell them.” Said Tracey.

“Oh, you don’t believe me, well watch me.” Said the man.

He took his phone and dialed a number and then called it.

“Hi uncle can you put the phone on speaker so untie could hear this too?” said the man.

“Yes son of course. She is here. It’s on speaker.” Said the uncle.

“Well, I called to tell you that Tracey here called another girl a slut and always tried to humiliate her and today she went too far by threatening the girl and made her cry and asked her parents to pick her up. I just thought I should tell you this.” Said the man.

“SHE DID WHAT!! Thanks for calling I will punish her when she gets home. Tell her that we will wait for her. Thanks for telling us jake.” Said her parents.

“Bye now.” Said jake and hung up.

Tracey looked shocked at what she saw and heard. Jake smiled at her and then told her that she was so dead when she gets home.

“Why did you do that, you jerk?” Said Tracey annoyed.

“Well since you can’t accept that you did something wrong then your parents must tell you and show you. And believe me when I say that they are pissed. You are so f*****g screwed when you get home.” Said Jake with a smirk.

If she can’t realize her own mistake, then he had to teach her a lesson. He thought.

Lucien, Lorcan and Ryker smiled when they heard what the boy had done. They calmed down and then walked outside to the car. The opened the car door and then went inside and drove home. When they arrived home Eve opened the door and walked outside together with her fiends they walked inside and went inside the house and walked into the living room and sat down at the couch. Lucien and the other also walked inside the house and into the living room and then sat down on one of the couches.

“How is it sweetheart?” said Lorcan.

“Its fine now Uncle Lorry.” Said Eve.

He sighed finely feeling relieved that she was feeling okey. But he and Lucien, Ryker will be keeping an eye at this girl Tracey from now on. No one hurts their little girl and getting away with it.

“That’s good.” Said Lorcan.

Genevieve looked at her daughter with a serious look and then she asked her:

“You called us because you got tired of her bitching around and keeps challenging you right?” said Gene.

“Well both yes and no. she made me angry, and I felt like something would snap if she angered me further and then she called me a slut that really hurt mt feelings. That’s why I called.” Said Eve.

“Wait what do you mean by snapping?” said Lucien and Lorcan.

“Well, it felt like if she angered my further then something inside would snap. I mean it almost felt like something moved inside me and was trying to break free the angrier I got. I could feel this warmth and power in the tips of my fingers. I got scared of that feeling so I called you guys instead, I was panicking.” Said Eve.

“No, it’s too early I won’t let this happen yet!!” Yelled Lucien and Lorcan.

“Sweetheart can you give me your hand?” Said Genevieve.

“Yes mom.” Said Eve.

Eve puts her hand in her mother’s hand. Genevieve senses her witch side beginning to wake up which is to early so Genevieve tells Lucien to go get her grimoire. And then he went upstairs to go get it. After he had picked it up, he walked down the stairs and into the living room. Then he gave his mate her grimoire. She looked through it until she found the spell she was looking for. She walked into her office and picked up a pendant that she was going to give her daughter tonight at her party but well she needs it now. She took the pendant and then walked into the living room and then sat down next to her daughter. She put the pendant in her daughters hand then she began to chant the spell while she took a dagger and cut her wrist and then she did the same to Eve and let the blood drop on the inside the pendant then she closed it and put their wrists together while holding the pendant between their hands. She continued to chant and then when she felt her daughters witch side falling in a deep sleep she stopped. She closed her grimoire.

“What was that about?” said Eve.

“I’m sorry sweetie but the feeling you felt in school was your witch side beginning to wake up but it’s still too early, so I made her go back to sleep and locked her powers inside the locket. You must always keep this on you. Do you understand?” said Genevieve.

“It’s okey I understand. Yes mom.” Said Eve.

“Good.” Said Genevieve.

“Wait mom why does it look like this?” Said Eve.

When she looked at their wrists, she noticed that the pendant had changed from one to two instead and they had one each around their wrists. Which shocked Genevieve. She flipped out.

“No, no not yet please moon goddess not yet she is just a child it’s too early.” Yelled Gene while crying.

“What’s wrong mom?” Said Eve.

Genevieve continued to cry and hugged her little girl to her chest and held her tightly to her chest. She refused to let go. And this scared the boys. Lucien and Lorcan got worried and went to them and hugged them both. The others wondered what was wrong but didn’t dare to ask.

“What’s wrong honey?” Said Lucien.

“Her witch side will awaken in a year at tops. The spell was supposed to make her witch side sleep until she is eighteen but instead it only lasts for a year at most that’s why it was made into two pieces and then locked itself around our wrists. The pendants will break when the time is up and then when it falls to pieces her witch side will fully awaken.” Said Genevieve.

“What. No, it can’t be!” Said Lucien and Lorcan at the same time.

“There is nothing more I can do its already done Luce.” Said Genevieve.

“Then we must begin her training soon, so she is ready and strong enough to handle her powers.” Said Lorcan

“Yeah. I just which she had more time before that. But I guess the goddess has a plan for our princess and we just must wait and see what it is.” Said Lucien.

“Yes, we have to do that.” Said Genevieve.

After she had calmed down completely, she let go of her daughter and then went to the kitchen to begin to make the dinner. Eve decided to help her mother make dinner today so just walked to the kitchen while the boys sat in the living room. Cassy also went to the kitchen to help with the dinner, so it was only the boys left in the living room.

“You know what this means right boys?” said Ryker.

“Yes Sir. This means that the goddess has something planned for Eve and it also means that we must start training harder so that we will be strong enough to protect her and keep her safe.” Said Jessie.

“We have something to share with you all. No one knows this secret because our mother made us promise never to tell anyone until the right time. This was the last thing she said before she died protecting us. We are tribrids. We should take this somewhere soundproof.” Said Casey.

“Sure, let’s go to my office upstairs.” Said Lucien.

They walked upstairs into the kings office then Lorcan closed and locked the door behind them. They sat down on the couch in the office.

“Now please go on.” Said Lucien.

“Well like we just said our mother died protecting us. And this was like fifteen years ago. but the reason we came to your pack my king was because felt the change in the wind the day your daughter was born. And we knew then that she would be our queen in the future. I saw in a vision how we all stood on one knee bowing down to our Queen. For now, our job is to keep her safe and help her find her prince but that’s not why we were sent here.” Said Casey.

“Wait you guys are older than my daughter and yet you go to school with her. Oki. Then why where you sent here?” said Lucien.

“Yes, we are older because we stopped aging fifteen years ago. we were killed by hunters then. But unlucky for them, they thought we were ordinary werewolves but that wasn’t the case at all. We have pure vampire blood running in our blood and that is why we survived that day. We still have our Lycans though it’s just that we are Lycans and not werewolves like the hunters thought. Because I’m oldest I am part Lycan, vampire, fae.” Said Charlie.

“Well, I am part Vampire, witch, werecat. Our father was also a tribrid that’s why we triplets are different from each other. Our father was part witch, vampire, werecat. And our mother was part Lycan, fae. But our sister is different from us and our parents. And we know why. Its because our fathers mother was one. Well let’s explain. Cassy is part vampire, werebear, witch.” Said Casey.

“Wow that was some mixes. But I understand now why you haven’t told anyone, but why tell us now?” said Lucien.

“Well, it’s time that we tell you know. The reason we were sent here is to be your daughters children’s guardians in the future. We will also be the ones to train them in the future. that’s why we came to this back after she had been born. We don’t have a mate and we will never find him or her either because our mate died before we met them. We had no purpose until the goddess sent us here. That’s why we decided that it was finely time to tell you the truth.” Said Charlie.

“Wow that was a lot. Well, if the goddess sent you then we can’t really say anything.” Said Lorcan.

Lucien and Ryker nodded their heads agreeing with what Lorcan said. And thanked the boys for telling them. Then they unlocked the door and walked out of the office and walked downstairs and into the living room and sat down in the couch while waiting for the girls to finish making the dinner. After 30 minutes the dinner was done, and Genevieve and the girls set the table and then told the guys to come and eat. The boys moaned when the put the food in their mouths because it was delicious. The foods scent was mouthwatering. The food smelled and tasted fantastic. After the dinner Lucien and Lorcan decided to wash the dishes with the boys and the girls went into the living room and sat down on the couch.

“How many people did you invite to my part mom?” Said Eve.

“Not many just your friends, Uncle Ryker, Lee, Rex and Lorry of course.” Said Genevieve.

“Oki and what time have you planned for the party to start so I can go and get ready?” Said Eve.

“It begins at 19.00 tonight so just be ready before then.” Said Genevieve.

“Okey well then we have to go get changed before the boys finish.” Said Cassy.

“Yes, they will lose this time.” Said Genevieve and Eve.

Like every year on her birthday, they always compete who can get change the fastest before the party begins. And like every year since Cameron was kidnapped the girls always lost and the boys won. But this year will be different or so they hoped because they really wanted to finely win this year. After losing for four years, they want to win so badly this year. To get a head start Genevieve teleports them to their rooms then they change clothes and wash themselves then they fix their hair and makeup. After that they put their dresses and heels on and then Genevieve teleports them back into the living room where they sit down on the couch and then ten minutes later the boys walk into the living room looking shocked and disappointed that they didn’t win this year and shocked that the girls had finished getting changed and dressed while they were washing the dishes. The girls laughed at their pouting faces so much that they almost cried. The stopped laughing so that they wouldn’t destroy their makeup. Then they boys ran upstairs to get ready. The party begins in one hour. The began to prepare the cake and table with table ware and then they did the decorations in the ballroom at the other building where the party is being held. They decorated the stairs with white and pink roses and then their orchestra was placed on the middle stage at a corner where everyone will be able to see them when they are sitting by the table. At 19.00 they guests dropped in and then when they were all here the party began. They mingled a while and chatted happily. Eve was chatting with Lee and Rex when she suddenly felt a sharp pain in her heart that made her fall on her knees. She clutched at her dress where the heart is with her hand while screaming and crying in pain. Lucien and Lorcan ran over at her side and held her and so did Genevieve. Her mother sat right in front of her. Everyone in the room looked worriedly at her.

“What happened sweetie?” Said Lorcan and Lucien.

“I don’t know mom, it just hurts, it feels like I have been stabbed.” Said Eve.

“No, it can’t be. Can I be that you feel Cameron’s pain?” Said Genevieve.

“I think so but mom, I can’t feel him anymore. Its like someone forced our soul bond to snap. It hurts so bad. It’s like my heart is broken in million pieces.” Said Eve while crying.

Lucien and Lorcan was beginning to get angry at the one who did this to their kids and made their little princess feel so much pain on her birthday.

“I’m sorry sweetheart. Can you give me your hand and let me have a look to see if I can see what happened?” Said Genevieve.

Eve gave her hand to her mother. Gene took her daughters hand and when she did, she could feel the traitors magic and then she countered the spell with a protection spell with ancient magic and it couldn’t be broken. That was the only way to save their mate bond. After the spell was done Genevieve stood up and was going to walk upstairs to rest for a while but before she could do that, she got dizzy and before she could fall, her mate caught her and then carried her princess style upstairs and put her down on the bed so that she could rest. She kissed her mate softly on the lips and smiled at him then she closed her eyes. Then he walked out of the room and closed the door. And walked back downstairs.

“I’m sure everyone is wondering what happened and all I can say is that the traitor apparently tried to severe our child’s mate bond with Cameron with a powerful spell, but my mate saved their bond by using an even stronger and older spell that can’t be broken and because of the other witch’s resistance my mate over used her powers by doing two strong old spells at the same time which drained her a little. But she will be fine after a good night’s rest.” Said Lucien.

Lorcan nodded at Lucien and carried Eve in his arms and put her down on a chair, so she could sit down for a while. Eve took a few deep breaths and after a few minutes she had finely calmed down and stood up again walking to her father and talking to him.

“Daddy how is mom?” Said Eve.

“She is fine sweetheart. She just needs some rest. I’m sorry she can’t be with you when you cut the cake.” Said Lucien.

“Okey. That’s okey dad.” Said Eve.
