I stared across the room, my eyes glued to that bottle of water as I watched Caspian drain the last of it.
"Game on." Brett whispered beside me and I couldn't help but smile..not only did Caspian drink it, but Johnnie did too.
I swear this is all meant to be..the fact that I ran into Brett, and the moment that f*****g sleazeball hit on me after I told him about Caspian, I knew he was the one.
He clearly dislikes my future husband..but that's okay, it's what I need to get the job done.
"You know he stole Johnnie from me.." He said, making Freddy laugh.
"I didn't think Johnnie would be such a hot commodity." He muttered sarcastically.
"Then you haven't really been looking at her have you." Brett scoffed while taking a drink of his beer.
