I woke up fresh and early today. I rubbed my eyes and walked up to the bathroom to do my business. Grabbing a fresh set of clothes for myself, I hopped into the shower to clean myself.
I was jubilus to get a holiday between my college days. I needed one to rest my vigilant mind and wild thoughts. After getting dressed, I walked down to the kitchen. The utter silence in the house signalled that dad did not come back from his work.
It rarely happened that he never returned from his work, and it does startled me to the core. I immediately took out my phone and called him. After several rings, he finally picked the call up.
