CHAPTER4

Alpha Cade walked into one his restaurant flanked by Emnette and Jane. He had been at the office all day and he was hungry and angry. Rouges have tried to kidnap two teens that ventured close to the border. They were dared by their friends and had almost become meat for the rouges. His pack soldiers had swung into action immediately and subdued the rouges. They have been brought before him for questioning and not finding any useful information from them,he had killed them.

He looked around the restaurant and noticed that it was quiet full. It was the evening rush hour and people were out on dates and just relaxing. He wished he could be like them. The manager in charge of this branch was doing a great job of handling the staff and maintaining the restaurant.

It was brought to his notice that a new waitress has been added to the staff since one of the waitresses had to stop work because she was heavily pregnant. He hoped that the new hire can do her job properly.

He walked towards his reserved table with his beta and omega. He took a seat and waited for them to sit as well.

"Lilian called again", Emnette said.

Jane rolled her eyes and hissed at the mention of Lilian.

" What did she want?" he asked Emnette.

"She said you haven't been picking up her calls or returning them. She also said she will be returning from Paris next week an to tell you she misses you, especially your organ", Emnette replied.

Jane choked on the water she was drinking and had a coughing fit.

"What the hell Emnette, did you have to say everything? Cade exclaimed.

"You asked me a question, and so I just replied", Emnette retorted.

"You are disgusting ", Jane said to Emnette and glared at him irritatingly.

He replied with a snarky remark and both of them started bickering. They never seemed to agree on things. If only they were fated mates, then maybe they would be able to stand each other.

While they were bickering, he looked round his establishment again. It was serene and beautiful. He was proud of what he has achieved so far. His pack had suffered for a while because of his late father's inability to handle money. He gambled money away and the pack had been abandoned leaving them vulnerable to attacks from other packs which had claimed the life of his mother. When he became alpha,he had worked his ass of to make them the richest and most feared pack .

His thoughts were interrupted by the manager of his restaurant who had approached his table.

"Alpha Cade! Welcome. We were not expecting you",the small man said.

He looked at the man directly in his eyes and asked "Do I need an invite or permission to come to my establishment?"

"No Alpha. I am sorry,that was not what I meant",the manager reply with fear in his eyes as he quickly looked down.

"What I meant was that,we would have prepared and made sure that the restaurant was strictly reserved for alone you this night",the manager continued.

"No need for that. Ever. Don't ever stop customers from coming on my account. I am like everyone here", Cade replied.

"Understood Alpha",the manager replied.

"The last time we talked,you told me you have hired a new waitress to replace the one that left", Cade said.

"Yes alpha,I did. Her name is Amelia. She just started work today and is trying to get the hang of things",the manager replied.

"Hmm! Amelia" the name rolled out of Cade's tongue smoothly.

"Did you do a background check on her before employing her?" Cade continued.

"Yes alpha. I know that it is our normal and most important protocol,to avoid our enemies from sending some, pretending to look for jobs or solace from their packs",the manager replied.

"Good. So what did you find out about her when you did the background check?"Cade said.

"Her name is Amelia Stone. She is 24 years old. She is Leticia Stone's niece,who is a member of our pack. She left Crescent Moon Pack six months ago to join our pack because she needed a change of environment after she was rejected by her mate. She has two brothers and both her parents are still alive ",his manager narrated to him.

Cade felt instant pity for the young woman he was yet to meet. It hurts to be rejected by the one you thought was meant for you.

For some reason which he could not fathom,he wanted to meet this Amelia of a girl. "I want her to be the one to attend to us tonight. I want to meet her and study her for myself", he said to his manager. His manager's eyes widened and he quickly said "Alpha,if I may,she is not fit to serve you yet. She has not gotten the hangs of things and might make a mistake".

"Let me be the Judge of that", Cade sternly replied his manager.

"Bring her out now!", he continued. His manager quickly hurried off to do his bidding. He looked to his companions and saw them staring at him.

"What?" He asked.

"Do you think its okay for the new girl to serve us? What if she makes a mistake and you get angry? You don't want to scare her off", Emnette said.

"I need to study her for myself. I remember you told me about a new pack member and you submitted her file for acceptance. I have not met her since then. This will be a good opportunity to do that", Cade replied. Just then,he sensed his manager coming back.

Suddenly he perceived a very sweet pleasant scent in the air that made all the hair in his body stand. It smelled like rain and vanilla mixed together. The scent consumed his senses and he felt his heart beating fast and about to leap from his chest. He looked up and saw his manager approaching him with someone behind him.

As they got closer, the scent became stronger. The scent was definitely coming from the person behind his manager.His wolf became restless and started to pace. Cade was eager and impatient to see who was behind his manager that was causing the various emotions and feelings to erupt inside him. Then he saw her and he felt his soul leave his body. Her scent encompassed him. She was so beautiful. Thick and beautiful. He felt his wolf trying to gain control.

The lady in front of him was thick,with heavy boobs and wide hips. She has beautiful red hair and the most astonishing green eyes he had ever seen. They were so green like the forest. He wanted her. He wanted to claim her for himself. He wanted to consume and own her.

He wondered why he was having all these thoughts and emotions. Then it dawned on him. She was his
