Any place I’ve traveled, I always make a point of sampling the local cuisine. What’s the point of traveling if you don’t try new things? But as we sat at the small table and ate our cheeseburgers and fries, I found some comfort in the fact that they tasted exactly as they would have back in any of the States. New things are good. They stretch the mind and can enrich your life. But even so, it’s always comforting to find something old and familiar.
