Chapter Nine “Ah, my friend!” Augustin greeted us as we came out onto the wide patio at the back of his villa. He rose from the table as we approached. Next to his chair, Dorcas knelt on a cushion, still naked, but shielded from the sun by the large umbrella above the table. I noted that she was collared, with leather cuffs at her wrists and ankles, her hands secured behind her by a heavy padlock through the rings in her wrist cuffs. She still seemed very shy about her condition, since she kept her eyes fixed on the flagstones in front of her. I felt relieved when I saw her, since I was leading Alison, similarly naked, collared and cuffed, on her leash. It had just seemed the thing to do, so I had done it. “I trust that you slept well last night?” Augustin asked as we reached the table.
