That night I didn't know what time that I drift to dream world.I keep thinking about Ecila and how I want to ask her for a date.Make it worst,I didn't ask for her number.Did I already lose my charms?

I have a counter with many women in the past.I can get any woman lay at my foot only by a glance.

But now.

What happen to me?

Just a simple step.

Ask for a number?

Oh my god.

I just glanced at her that all evening but why did I not think about ask for her number.

And now my mother beat me twice.She already make a plan for me and Ecila to meet again.Mum and dad decided to call Ecila and her grandmother for dinner.Mum say she want me to date Ecila first and she doing this not because she desperate.But she can see that I will happy with Ecila.I didn't want to think about future for now .Plus I still have a problem name 'Silvia'.Hope that doctor can make excuses for her to check the baby inside Silvia is mine or not.That evening Ecila and her grandmother come and they bring some chocolate cookies.Her grandmother say that Ecila bake that cookies.She always bake extra to give to another neighbour around their neighborhood including my parents.Her grandmother tell me that she doing that for 5 year already.She bake that cookies to sell it at Aunty Finn mini market.Sometimes she sell the cookies at school .Their have a difficult life back then.Now Ecila earn more money by work at Aunty Finn mini market.Plus they sale flowers to cover some of the need including the house debt.When her grandmother tell me about it, Ecila shake her head.She doesn't want her grandmother to tell me about their life.She want to hide her feeling by saying that she didn't have any difficulty at all.She denied it and they're happy because they have each others.

"Grandma... please don't talk about it anymore.I'm so happy because I have you."She then hug and kiss her grandmother cheek.

"Hush baby girl.I know I can't take care of you.But your the one that take care of me."her grandmother confess.She hugging Ecila too and then Ecila is crying.

My mother come closer to them and she is hugging them both.My father just shake his head and smile at me.He knew ladies is so emotional.So father and I go outside to smoke.I light up my cigarette and give my dad one.Then after a few minutes my dad and I hear they are laughing.My dad and I look at each other and decide to go back inside.

At the dining table, they're prepared dinner for us.

"Oh.. there you are hun.I almost want to ask Ecila to call you.Please sit down Ecila,Sally."

"Ethan and I just have a smoke outside and let's your lady to have your time together."my father claim.And they both laugh.But Ecila just smile and blush.

"So..honey,you already have a boyfriend?"my mother ask Ecila.Then her answer give me a thousand hope.

"No."

"No?A beautiful girl like you.Really Ecila?"

"Never have time for that.Not interesting.Maybe,never find a suitable guy."

"She always take care of me.Even at her free time ,she will help me and our neighbours.She never think about herself.If a guy want to be with her.He must a understanding guy.I hope she find that man and marry him."

"Grandma..."Ecila take her grandmother hand and kiss.She smile to her and drop a few tears.Her grandmother swipe her tears.I wish I can swipe her tears.

"Oh honey please don't cry.Sorry I keep saying something that make you cry.Ethan ,I'm sorry to you too dear.It suppose to be a happy dinner."

"It's okay Grandma.Plus I use to see my mother crying when she video call me this past 3 year."

Ecila smile at me.

My mind is blank.

I just look at her and see her smile.

Oh I wish I can kiss that lips and wrap my hand around her waist and hug her closer to my body.

"Ethan..son.You didn't like our dinner?Why did you not eat anything?

My mother ask me.Then I realised that I still looking at Ecila.Then I steal a glance at her.She is blush.I hope she didn't notice that.But I know mum and dad notice it.Because my dad is smirk and my mother smile.Did I really like her more then other girl and women that I had meet?
