Chapter Eleven

SIENNA'S POV

After we left the diner Ethan had told me the fun wasn't over with yet. I wondered how it could be fun going to his work. but I guess I'm about to find out since we are walking up to a building.

"What you got to do anyway? you never did tell me over breakfast" I ask.

"I will tell you once we are inside" Ethan says opening the door and holding it open for me to walk in.

"Thanks" I say walking through and some older gentleman says "I'm sorry we are not open to the public yet. Your have to come back later although we are usually appointments only".

"That's okay, it won't be necessary. All I will require is two things first being I.D cards for myself and my guest here. Secondly for you not to tell anyone the owner of the company has stopped by. I can show you the I.D required to prove this as well" Ethan says

"I will most definitely check the I.D of yourself sir. If you could hand me your employee card I can do that now" The bloke says.

Ethan passes it over and the gentleman looks at it in shock. "Is there anything else you need sir?" The man says

"Yes literally for you to not inform anyone who i am or that I am here. your literally the only person who knows so if you tell anyone trust me it won't be worth it" Ethan says

"Certainly, I can give you all access I.D card sir but im not sure if I'm being tested or not with the women having a I.D card" The man says.

"She is fine and no threat since she is a pretty popular surgeon. So trust me she can have a I.D access card. We will be handing them in before we leave" Ethan says and I look at him like he is crazy. This poor bloke is gonna have a heart attack at this rate.

With that our access cards are given over quickly and we are wished a great day.

"Now what?" I ask Ethan as we walk off.

"Do you remember Clark?" Ethan asks.

"That was in your year group? you sometimes use to hang out with him at party's?" I ask

"Yeah, thats the one. Well we also studied in college together as well. I made him one of the big bosses in the states. He covers this part of the states which I put into four sections. Anyway I let him know I was in town as such but he is a few states away dealing with some big celebrity giving him jip. But he did state he has this place he needed to fit in at some point to deal with something. Any how bottom line is since I'm here I said I'd save him the journey and sort the issue out" Ethan says.

"Uh, what's the issue?" I ask as we make our way up some stairs.

"Let's just say someone who recently quit sent a email to Clark who found it interesting that he did some digging. We have a few more hours to see what else we can find out before the one In charge of this place gets fired" Ethan says

"No, way! and how do you know where your going if you never visited here before?" I ask.

"Clark gave me brief directions from what he remembered. basically top floor and look out for a door which says Mr Rod on it" Ethan says.

"Great directions" I say as we continue up the stairs.

"Yeah, I bet Clark could of given more but knowing him he wants to give me a little run around for the fun of it" Ethan says.

"Probably, he was a joker from what I remember" I say.

Once we reach the top floor we start to look for Mr Rod's office, only I come across a office where the door is open and a female is slummed over her desk asleep snoring away.

"Ethan" I saying point the women out.

"It's Miss Brewers also someone I wanted to speak with" Ethan says as we walk into the office.

"Well looks like the poor women needs to go home and sleep" I say gently patting the womens arm as I then say "Time to wake up Miss Brewers" a little louder at the same time Ethan says "Agreed".

The women sits up abruptly as she opens here eyes looking around startled and says "huh".

"Sorry to wake you up like this" I say trying to offer a friendly face smile.

"Who are you?" The women asks.

"All you need to know right now is that you need a drink to wake up. Gather yourself and then meet us in Mr Rods office. You don't speak to anyone else about us. Now if you can do this we won't take much of your time and it will be worth it. By the way I'm Mr Ethan Ryde' Ethan says.

"Did you just says Ethan Ryde as in owner big boss of all the bosses Ethan?" Miss Brewers asks.

"Yes, that is correct. Now do you understand everything I said. Go get a drink gather yourself and meet me in Mr Rods office. remember you don't tell a soul I'm here" Ethan says.

"Yes, I will be right there" Miss Brewers says.

"Take your time. We are not in a hurry and trust me Ethan isn't that scary, by the way which way is Mr Rods office?" I ask.

"I'm tryna give over the mean boss vibe and here you come calling my bluff. Its a good Job I like you. Come on let's leave Mrs Brewers to wake up i can find the office myself" Ethan says shaking his head in disbelief at me.

"Don't listen to him, which way is it left or right?" I say and Miss Brewers looks between us as if she is amused before saying "Right literally the last office. Apperently it has the best view. When reality its closest to the staff room where he spends most. Uh, nevermind".

"No, please finish that sentence" Ethan says

"Spends most his time" Miss Brewers says with a scrunched up face.

"I know, at least I know your be honest. Now get yourself a drink and wake up before you see me" Ethan says walking out the room.

"Nice to meet you. By the way, your make up needs fixing as well" I say standing up as I start to follow Ethan out the room

"Thanks" Miss Brewers says.

"No one wants a mean boss in there face after being woken up by them after clearly working late into the night for them" I say as we walk up the corridor.

"I know, thats why I stated she went and woke up and got herself together. Dont worry, I plan on sending her home except she has dark circles under her eyes so I want her to have a drink and wake up first before walking out this place. Yet I still have to hold that don't mess with me act because I am the big big boss and without it people will think they can walk all over me" Ethan says.

"Hmm, I didn't think of it that way. I will try not to make you look nice and approachable again" I say as we reach Mr Rods office.

"That's not in your nature after all you are one the baddest doctors out there. Kind and caring and just genuinely nice is what you naturally do" Ethan says holding the door open to the office for me.

I take a look inside as I walk in but I swear my eyes must of popped out or something. It smelled horrible, stuffy and stale. The desk was cluttered with so much stuff from paperwork to even a few cups and a plate left with half a sandwich on. There where stacks of boxes piled up all over the place with every unit looking cluttered.

"Wow, I hope Mr Rod doesn't hold meetings in here because its horrid" I say as I was walking over to the window to open it.

"Hmm, Looks like i will have to make a start on tidying up. I wonder if a cleaner even comes in to clean it" Ethan says as walks around look to see where he should even start before reaching the desk.

"I'd start by binning the rubbish and taking away the food and drinks" I say.

"Yeah, Good point. I wonder when the cleaners will show up as I have a feeling I'm gonna need there supply's" Ethan says as we look at each other in disbelief that anyone could work in such a state.

"I will go hunt out someone to help me find cleaning stuff" I say.

"You, don't have to do that" Ethan says

"Trust me, I do. Its awful in here and we will definitely need some bin bags. There may even be some supplys in the staff room with any luck. I will take these rank cups and plate out with me. Hopefully the staff room. Will have a washing up sink or dish washer. Plus I wouldn't understand all these files, let alone know where to start organising them" I say

"Okay, only if your sure. I will make a start with clearing the desk at least. But here take this Your need it to access all areas. If anyone gives you any issues come let me know. However people won't be due to start work for a little while yet. Its likely to be a handful of people in the building at most right now" Ethan says handing me the access pass.

"Thanks" I say taking it before then picking up the plates and cups. By the time I've reached the door Ethan is holding it open for me.

ETHAN'S POV

I watch as Sienna walked over to the staff room. As she entered I heard Miss Brewers say "Oh my god, I'm so sorry is Mr Ryde wanting to see me now?".. "Please sit down, Ethan didn't send me to collect you. That office is awful so we are just trying to clean it up a little. Relax, you have time for a drink at least" Sienna says.

"Are you his secretary? Sorry I didn't catch your name?" Miss Brewers asks.

"Oh, no. Its way worse me and Ethan have known each other for basically all our lives. Trust me he gonna be a bigger pain in my ass than yours while in the states. But I wouldn't change him dispite it. And if you think you got it bad today. Trust me even I'm lucky there could of easily been a extra three men here. Well two at least and put all them men together can be trouble, However there also actually very approachable and have good morals.. I think thats because I kept them in line growing up" Sienna says and I can't help laughing as I leave the door ajar and head back to the desk to start clearing it. Of course Sienna would instantly be best friends with anyone I think to myself.

I hadn't made much headway when I heard the women chattering like old friends as they head off somewhere. I wasn't shocked that Sienna would make friends as its the type of person she is. I wasn't even worried about her getting lost or even getting into any trouble as I'd already checked out Miss Brewers beforehand. She was highly recommended by everyone who came into contact with her. Glowing professional background. And liked well, you could tell by how others had given her such glowing references from just the previous Jobs nevermind the process reports we had.

They hadn't even been gone long when I could hear them coming back up the corridor and Sienna was saying "Now remember what I said Ethan you need to make him think he like a tiger, Big strong powerful let him have his ego boost. But in Reality he is a big p***y cat who you can easily have eating out the palm of your hands so long as you make him think he is the big bad tiger".

"I can hear you Sienna" I say loudly while trying not to laugh.. They then walk in both hands full of cleaning products and Sienna just smirks at me while Miss Brewers looks like a child who did something wrong and been caught out.

"Aww, Ethan be nice after all we brought back cleaning supplys" Sienna says.

"I can see that. I'm starting to think we may just need a skip over black bags though. Anyway, let's not worry about the cleaning for a second.. Miss Brewers how about we talk in your office. I don't think this place is fit to hold a meeting anyway". I say.

Sienna's phone starts to ring and she says you go on. I just need to take this.

"Okay, we won't be long" I say as I indicate for Miss Brewers to join me.

We leave the room and start to walk down towards Miss Brewers office when she says "Sienna seems really nice, she looks familiar though but I can't pin point from where".

"She has lived here for a few years so maybe in passing or the hospital where she works" I say

"Maybe" is all Miss Brewers replys

SIENNA'S POV

After my phone call ended, I didnt want to the disturb Ethans meeting so I opted to start cleaning down the office. I noticed Ethan had cleared most the desk so I started to clean that all down the best I could.

Bang "Who the hell are you?" Some middle aged man shouts. I look up dropping the file I'd just picked up in my hand to move over so I could clean under them. I see the door was wide open rebounding off the wall as it stops as it collides with the side of the man.

"I, uh. I'm with Ethan Ryde. Just cleaning up a little in here" I say.

"Don't f*****g lie to me. That man wouldn't come here. So let's try again. Tell me who the f**k you are and why your snopping around my office" the man says walking towards the desk.

"I swear it's the truth. I can show you" I say going to walk around the desk but I stop jumping out my skin as he whacks his fist down on the desk.

"Last chance, my Patience is wearing thin. Who are you?!" The man shouts and I try to squirm my ears shut while trying not to show I'm afraid yet I still flinch just like I use to when Clive would act like this.

"I swear, I'm with Ethan Ryde. I can prove it" I say whilst debating if I have time to run for the door past this man. whilst trying to take a few step near the wall but also nearer the door.

"You f*****g lair. Just wait and see" the man shouts and I start to run for the door but he grabs my wrist bending it back and it hurts like a b***h. Before I know it I'm face to face with this bloke who stinks like a ashtray and he has yellowing teeth.

"Don't think you can run away. What was you looking for in here?" he shouts as he shoves me to the wall and I'm pinned between him and the wall now.

"I was cleaning" I say trying to move and break myself free but he has a tight grip on both my arms now. I lift my knee up and knee him in groin. he realises me while he momentarily kneels over slightly. I quickly use it as my chance of escape but he grabs my arm with one hand before I feel his other hand pulling my hair. I scream as if my life depends on it as I'm thrown back against the wall.

"You wanna play b***h, I will show you how to play" He shouts lifting his hand up about to hit me. But I've already raised my knee again as I knee him in the groin even harder this time. Yet the bustard still lands the slap on me just before he kneels over again.

So I then push his head even more down while I knee him in the face.. "No one is allowed to hit me. You hear no one. I'm sick of being peoples punching bags" I scream then I push him off ready to run again.

The man grabs my leg though making me fall to floor as I look up I see his fist ready to come crashing down on my face..

"You dare f*****g touch her again and you won't f*****g live the rest of the day never mind the rest of your life" I hear Ethan shouting with that I roll over to dodge the blow anyway.
