ELISE “I would like the moon shaped cookie, please.” Miss Penelope says. “Of course.” I reply. She must have just finished her daily work at the Lady Maman’s household. She does not sleep at their house even though her work is extremely tasking owing to the fact that there is nothing that Lady Maman’s loves more than throwing a good party. The planning of the parties is left to Miss Penelope and so is the cleaning after each party. Every evening she must also find her way home because of her husband who is strict and militarian about her movements. As a result of her constant stress, she alway looks incredibly tired. “And the heart-shaped one, Mama!” A three year old Bella jumps up and down, her little hand gripped within her mother’s. “Maybe next time, Bella.” She says tiredly.
